WHEN YOU BUY A BLANKET, WE GIVE A BLANKET!

Looking into the cages, sad, scared eyes gazed back at us. This particular shelter was outdoors (as many are) so the animals were exposed to the elements. These precious pups often slept on the cold, hard concrete floor, or some of them had an old, crude looking cot bed.

One of the volunteers told us "We desperately need blankets. We need them all year around, but especially during the fall and winter months! Oftentimes it’s the only possession a shelter pet has."

This gave us an idea… We did a quick poll on the iHeartDogs page. We asked people “What’s your favorite thing to give or receive during the holidays?” Do you know what the most popular response was? BLANKETS!

So the Give Warmth ™ campaign was born. We got to work and designed some beautiful dog themed blankets. For every human size blanket we sold, we’d donate one to a shelter dog!
The campaign first launched in December of 2018. To say it was a hit is an understatement! Last year alone we funded 20,000 blanket donations to shelters!!!

I have been a dog walker/pet sitter for 6 years and have ventured into a new journey on working with animals!
I have 200+ course credits from Canis Bodyworks,formally Chicago School of Canine Massage. I am proud to say that in 2019 I became certified with the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupuncture and Massage.
