🌻 Molly & Henley 🌳

These two are soo cute and super fun to work with! I've always wanted to work with an Akita 😍

I was originally contacted due to Molly making some recent bad decisions, being generally reactive to dogs and select people on walks; despite being otherwise friendly. Poor girl is pretty insecure so she's very reliant on her big brother for guidance.

Henley just needed work all around, he's a gorgeous little meathead that needed a touch up with obedience, work on recall, and his issues with fixating on triggers; causing a lot of Molly's reactivity. He's such a sweet boy and is very food motivated which has been helpful!

Since starting their home training program with me back in May, Molly has become a lot less reactive, Henley is starting to understand not to fixate and to look at his handler instead, both of their obedience has improved and their Mumma can now walk them both past a dog without either of them reacting!

I have so much fun with these two and look forward to more training in the future!

Poor Frankie! He can't train for his obedience title (BH) anymore because if he does he will be called an attack dog! How can a pug be an attack dog? According to proposed legislation in South Australia, simply because Frankie is learning advanced obedience skills to prepare for his BH title in IGP, he will be classified as an attack dog. 🪕 Banjo! 🪕

Banjo's guardian reached out to me for help with his reactivity toward people and dogs, general anxiety, leash walking, recall, and settling in different environments. After just two sessions, I'm thrilled to say that Banjo is already showing significant improvement!

His guardian has shown a great amount of dedication to his training and is even enjoying their training sessions together, which is great to hear!

Not only is his reactivity decreasing, but his leash walking is getting smoother, his recall is becoming more reliable, and his 'place' training is coming along nicely too.

Even more exciting is seeing the positive changes in Banjo's bond with his guardian. It's heart-warming to witness their relationship blossoming as they work together. 🥰

How ADORABLE is this little face?!
Meet Luna! 🌙

Luna is already stealing my heart. Her family reached out to me for help with her reactivity, leash manners, obedience, and general house manners, and I couldn't be more excited to support them on this journey.

Her family has only had her in their lives for less than a month and one of the first things they did was reach out to a trainer to help get her started on the right path as soon as they can.

Building a bond with a new dog (especially an adult dog) is so important, and training is the perfect way to build trust and a connection. I can already see Luna's bond with her new family growing stronger each time I see them 😍

In just a short time, Luna has shown remarkable progress. She's taking to crate training like a champ and soaking up new lessons like a sponge! Her leash manners are already showing promising improvements, and her enthusiasm for learning makes every session very interesting. Some might say she's too smart for her own good!

I absolutely can't wait to continue working with Luna and her wonderful family. Together, we'll unlock even more of her potential and create a great bond that lasts a lifetime.

🐾 E-Collars are not "bad" tools
🐾 E-Collars allow dogs to live their best off leash lives
🐾 If you train well with the e-collar you don't rely on it and don't "need" it!!
🐾 Good quality E-Collars used in a fair manner will open up a whole new world for you and your dog
🐾 E-Collars are not "quick fixes" and need to be taught ideally within a holistic program (with the help of a trainer who knows what they're doing)
🐾 E-Collars are communicative tools so can be used with confident dogs AND nervous/fearful dogs alike
🐾 E-Collars don't make dogs fearful and also don't make fearful dogs worse when you use them right
🐾 E-Collars are versatile and could help you with multiple different things!
🐾 E-Collars will not fix ya problem on their own, you'll still need to cover the basics and respect the needs of your dog - but it's a fantastic, modern dog training tool that assists a broader program
Glory (see cutie above) often helps me at work, goes off leash in new areas without her ecollar on because we don't *need* it. She's never blown off a recall in the 3 years I've had her. Thanks to:

I rarely have her on lead cause I don't need to... So why would I? I want my dog to be as free as possible all the time. But responsibly ✔️
If you don't know about them and your first reaction to an e-collar is **HOLY WATER** I get it.
But educate yourself first before deciding not to use one. Otherwise I'll judge you. And your dog may lose out :( 🤷 and that SUCKS.
I'll always think that a dog with behavioural problems stuck on a short leash for its entire life cause their owner refuses to try something different is a much sadder situation than an e-collar trained dog and I'll die on that hill ⛰️

Meet Gibbs, a recent board and train client!

Despite stereotypes about his breed being "all brawn, no brain," (which he definitely lives up to 🤣) Gibbs has shown that with dedication and patience, any pup can excel!

Gibbs' main achievement? Learning to understand leash pressure and loose leash walking like a pro! No more pulling or tugging, just smooth, enjoyable strolls with his fam. It's been fun to witness his transformation and see him bond even closer with his humans.

🚀 Meet Rocket! 🚀

Rocket started a training program with boundless energy and a heart full of love. From the get-go, it was clear he was eager to learn and please his guardians. They reached out to me for help with a handful of challenges, but with Rocket's determination and their dedication, we've achieved incredible results!

We tackled everything from recall to leash manners, and even worked on some pesky destructive habits. Through consistent communication, crate training, and implementing structured routines like working for his daily food, Rocket has blossomed into a more focused and obedient companion.

One of our biggest victories? Rocket's newfound confidence outside the home. He's learned to shift his focus from distractions to his guardians, making walks a joy instead of a struggle.

I am thrilled to share some heart-warming progress about Bacardi, one of my beloved training clients! 🐶✨ Bacardi, a sweet old soul rescued from a local refuge, has been on quite the journey toward becoming the best version of himself. 🏡💖

When Bacardi's guardian reached out to me, they were seeking help with Bacardi's reactivity toward people and dogs, along with some recent challenges with a family member. 🐾 Meet Harlo, my wonderful walking buddy! 🐶 It's incredible to see how far he's come since I first started training him at just 8 months old. Harlo's family contacted me for help with obedience, walking, and recall, and let me tell you, he's still acing all of it! 🌟

Now, fast forward to today, Harlo is now 2; his family reached out again, asking me to take him for walks once a week, and I couldn't be happier to do so! Every stroll with him is filled with joy and laughter because let's face it, Harlo is not just a dog, he's a bundle of goofiness and love. 💖

From our early training sessions to our weekly walks now, Harlo remains an absolute delight. 🐾 Here's to many more adventures with this lovely little dog! 🌳✨

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hosting Rio for a board & train session, and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure! 🐶💼

Rio, a former walking client, joined me for a weekend of intensive learning and fun. We focused on some essential skills like learning to walk politely on the lead, working a little on his dog reactivity, and establishing some much-needed boundaries. But let me tell you, Rio's enthusiasm for treats almost had him munching on my fingers along with his goodies! 😆🍖

Despite the occasional snack-related mishap, it was an absolute joy getting to know Rio better. His dedication to learning and boundless energy made every moment worthwhile. 🌟 Can't wait to see his progress continue even after our time together!

Here's to many more adventures and successes ahead for Rio! 🎉🐾

This is Thor 🌩 and he has a very special place in my heart ❤
Thor is the first dog to benefit from my stay and train, home training program. It's taken so long to post him because it's taken us a while to get comfortable enough to be this calm and focused in public!

I have been working with Thor for roughly 4 weeks; when we first started he had very little food drive, he would be overstimulated the second we stepped outside, shot out the front (or garage) door any chance he got, struggled with recall, had some bad lead habits, showed reactivity toward dogs, and had little obedience.

The first two weeks I worked him 4 days per week, we worked really hard on handler focus, teaching him leash manners, recall basics, and I assessed the extent of his reactivity. At the end of the day, he's just a scared little man who needs some patience and structure.

The last two weeks we focused more on obedience; I quickly found he doesn't like going into a sit so instead I moved onto his 'down' command in the hopes it would be a more comfortable position for him. We've had great success! He picked it up really quickly and we're now moving onto doing it outside the house.

We also made more progress with his reactivity in the last week, I brought my dog with me to one of his sessions to see how severe his reactivity is, and found that after 20 minutes of repetitions we were able to get quite close without Thor fixating, and he had extremely relaxed body language to boot!

Because of his ongoing issues with getting overstimulated quite quickly, we are muzzle training to be responsible. His owner wants to be able to take him to the beach and help him enjoy life, so muzzle training will assist them with that goal as well. So far Thor doesn't mind the muzzle after only a few sessions and shows so much potential 😁

Over the next few weeks I plan to have his family get more involved to give them confidence in handling him and helping ensure they are packed with all the information they need to help Thor continue to make good decisions ❤

I'm so looking forward to how this gorgeous boy is going to turn out, his family says they've already seen a great difference in him.

This handsome boy here is Roger 🐰
His guardians contacted me to help with his leash pulling, over-excitement, and to help prepare him for the many changes that will be coming with his new human sibling in the next year.
He is such a cool and happy little dude; sand and puddles send him into a zoomy tornado, birds are the best thing ever, and people/dogs are super interesting! However being dragged every which way to interact with these things can be very challenging for those handling him.
We're working on counter conditioning, teaching him that his handler is the most interesting thing, that he doesn't need to tell the whole neighbourhood when he's excited, and to chill when in the house/ meeting strangers.
Really excited to keep working with this guy!

Meet Pip!
A lovely little baby Tenterfield terrier. Such a sweet girl with sooo much potential! Her mumma contacted me to help get them on the right track with their training journey, as it had been a while since she's had a puppy.
