Review : Wow talk about comfy these are like no other riding right I have ever tried.

They fit nicely are slightly heavier fabric to normal yoga type tights, so don’t show every lump and bump.

It has a great wide waste band that works great if you don’t have a flat tummy, holds everything in nicely. Not sure I will be able to go back to normal breeches after riding in these.

Product : Maxia Complete

Cost : $48.50 1kg

Review : This is a feed supplement, I started using Maxia for a horse who seemed to be getting very spooky and the reconmended grass related supplements weren’t working.

He was scopes and found to level 3 ulcers, After feeding Maxia twice a day and rescoping at 6 weeks his ulcers had cleared up. I now continue to feed this daily to horses in work to act as a stomach lining, especially when traveling to prevent ulcers and promote gut health.

I have heard that it also helps with horses effected by spring grass but I have yet to see it make a difference with this.

It should be a 5 Star product, however I have given it 4 stars only due to the cost. It’s not cheap, but I have seen the results so continue to buy it, I purchase the 12kg size as works out a lot cheaper.

Review : This is a five star product, it’s a coat moisturiser it’s a anti itch spray, it’s a spray onto docks and manes to help clear away flaky scalp. It’s magic stuff, even sorted out nasty rain scold on my turned out old pony. Well worth having in the tack shed used everyday to create a soft as silk coat.

Product : Le Mieux Fleece Lined Brushing Boots

Cost : $129.95

Review : I hunted high and low for natural fleece brushing boots as my horse sweats a lot, these did the job and his legs are a lot less sweaty when I take them off, they also come in generous sizing so fit nice on his big b***d legs.

My only complaint would be the cost but as every other brushing boots is not a natural fleece I didn’t have much choice. They fit nicely and I do like the double strap system. I will be purchasing another per for lessons and competition use.

Review : WOW this is better than expected, I purchased with the idea it might help to teach me more feel with a better understanding of head position.

However what it has done is change my riding for the better, it has been the step I needed to take focus of the reins and more on my seat and legs, riding smarter.

I now hate the red light with a passion and if I ask for anything with to much hand my horse drops behind the vertical and I get the red light.

It also have a function for speed your horse is traveling which I haven’t used but I imagine would be helpful for fitness training and endurance.

The app is straight forward once you read the instructions 🧐 you programme in the angles you want and how sensitive you want it to react for each different horse by saving horses and bridles combos.

It’s less of a gadget and way more helpful than expected so a 5 Star.

Product : Numat Kura rubber stable mats

Cost : approx $1000 incl GST for one stable

Review : This has made a huge difference to how I clean and use my stable/loose box. I don't have a fancy stable but we put down a concrete floor and the rubber mats sit perfectly over this and don't move, we haven't used the fixings and don't think we will need them.

They were easy to install and cut to size my husband did it within a few hours, the jigsaw shaped joins work well with no movement to the sheets at all.

We went with the Kura range as I liked the idea of the 24mm thickness and the interlocking sheets.
