🧡 Halfway Home K9 Rescue 🧡 Our May Le Dog Helps Recipient.

Founded in 2020 is a 100% foster based rescue located in Ontario, Canada. To date, they have rescued and rehomed 430+ dogs. Their focus is to help northern communities along the James Bay Coast and other remote locations to reduce the dog-overpopulation by assisting communities with rescuing their unwanted, injured or stray dogs. They believe every dog deserves the chance to have a shelter over their head, a family who loves them, and a place to call "home.”

We donated a Le Walk Set which they will use for a foster or as an item to auction off to raise money directly for the rescue.

Pictured is adorable Koda, a 5mo old female Husky Shepherd Mix. She is sassy yet sweet and will steal your heart with her cuteness. She loves car rides, and long walks and will do anything for a treat. She's the life of the party, being very confident and ready to go on new adventures with you.

🧡 Save Our Scruff 🧡 Our April Le Dog Helps Recipient.

Save Our Scruff is a non-profit organization located in Southern Ontario dedicated to rescuing dogs from unfortunate situations and finding them safe and suitable permanent homes through adoption, advocacy and education.They work with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians, and trainers, providing rescue dog with loving temporary care while finding them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

We donated a Le Walk Set which they will use for their silent auction in September.

Pictured is Karma, a sweet 12 year old female brindle who has been growing her confidence in foster care. She loves any and all activities. Walking, hiking, playing, training, enrichment activities and therefore is looking for an active family that loves going for adventures but also loves chilling. Karma is currently available for adoption in the Hamilton area.

Le Dog was just an idea at this time inspired by the desire to find a dog bed for Bowie that was easy to clean, I wouldn't be embarrassed to have in my living room when company came over and gave him the support needed for his joints and bones so he could live a long healthy life. And Le Bed was born! Dogs hold an incredibly important spot in our hearts and for Le Dog, Bowie truly is our inspiration.

🧡 The Animal Foundation🧡 Our March Le Dog Helps Recipient.

founded in 1978 as a low-cost spay and neuter clinic, is one of the highest volume single-site animal shelters in America.

Much like a public hospital, as an open-admission shelter, The Animal Foundation takes in every animal who comes to us in need, no matter how sick or injured. 

We donated a Le Bed Bone they used for their most recent Best In Show event and silent auction raising money to directly benefit the organization. 

Pictured is sweet Wilson, who was found crying in a Las Vegas neighbourhood. He was taken to the Las Vegas Specialty Center, where they repaired his broken femur. Now, he’s on the road to recovery in a loving foster home, and his foster now wants to adopt him! His surgery was made possible thanks to their donation-supported fund.

🧡 Whistler Animals Galore 🧡 Our February Le Dog helps Recipient.

is a not for profit animal shelter and rehabilitation center established in 1982. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to homeless and lost dogs and cats in their community and to be advocates in finding their forever homes.

We donated a Le Walk Set which they will use in their online auction in May to raise money directly benefiting the organization.

Fun fact... I picked Bowie from a picture of puppies and when I saw the heart on his chest I knew he was the one 🥰 After workshopping a bunch of Care Bear names I finally landed on Bowie because it suited him so well and is for David Bowie, one of my all-time favourite artists. Also to my surprise all the Care Bears were named after emotions. Lol which I didn't understand as a kid apparently. Needless to say he will always be my "Love-A-Lot Bear" despite his real name! 🤣 Also revealing my generation here while I'm at it! Lol

works within Canada to rescue shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia from local clinics due to lack of resources. They do not discriminate based on breed, age, lack of manners, medical background or current medical state. They ensure their dogs receive the vet care, love and attention needed before being placed up for adoption.
