We are still missing loads of Secret Santa gifts. We are running out of time to get gifts to fosters. Please note that any gifts dropped off after today may not make it to your critter before Christmas, and photos will be delayed (so please be patient).

If you purchased gifts from Zoey & Lilos Toybox, they arrived yesterday and will be distributed asap.

If you can no longer be at Santa to your chosen critter, please tell us today. We understand life happens, especially at this time of year, but we just need to know.

Sweet Pixie, one of the bunnies rescued in Selkirk, developed serious medical complications that required emergency surgery today.

Thanks to the amazing care of Dr. Lin at , as well as the keen eye of one of our volunteers, Michelle, Pixie is now recovering comfortably in one of our foster homes.

Due to the kindness of all those who support our efforts in Selkirk, Pixie is still alive. Without you, Pixie would have died cold, scared, and alone outside. This is how serious her health situation was.

This is why we are doing what we are doing. To save more bunnies like Pixie.

Please continue to support our mission so we can keep saving these beautiful bunnies.

..... oh, did we say 42?! We meant 43, 44, 45, 46 .... and maybe beyond.

Our volunteer Michelle got quite a surprise when she arrived at the shelter today.

Kiwi gave birth overnight to babies! We see approx. 4-5, but we didn't want to disturb her beautiful nest. Kiwi had obviously done this before, and her babies appear strong and healthy. As she is one of the bunnies that has been with us the longest, she will have gotten proper nutrition through nearly her entire pregnancy, so we are hopeful that these babies will be just fine.

It's been quite the day for our rescue!

My favourite part of the day… OK, every part of the day is my favourite, I’m a pretty easy-going guy! But seriously, look at how healthy I am, eating all these delicious greens for dinner? I love it when you share your salad with me! #SpongeBobAdventures

Speaking of magic, did you know I can do tricks? Look at this… I disappear into this tunnel and TADA! I reappear closer to you! Who needs a human with a top hat? I’m the white bunny that knows all the tricks! #SpongeBobAdventures

Ahhh, I feel so loose and spry after that little massage session that I’m ready to play! My favourite toy is this ball. Did you know that if I roll it around, treats magically appear on the floor??? It’s amazing. Nom nom nom, I love magic! #SpongeBobAdventures

I’m all about self-care and my humans give the best massages! They say I’m a little “cuddlebug”… I’m not sure I like being called a bug, but if it means more massages, then maybe I’ll forgive them… *sigh* #SpongeBobAdventures

I think the humans need to vacuum… look at my paw! It needs a thorough cleaning. Wait, why do I feel like I’m being watched while I bathe? #SpongeBobAdventures

They are finally here!! And that means playtime – and SNACKS! Nom nom nom… wait, what else did I want, other than snacks? Oh yes, roaming time! I’ll get to that… nom nom… after I’m done… nom nom… my snacks! #SpongeBobAdventures

New to rescue ladies Ruby and Sapphire recently got a clean bill of health and will be ready for adoption very soon!
