Getting this is early before the world goes mad later.... Best wishes to all for 2014, I hope it brings good health and happiness, and successes however small to everyone. I think its fair to say 2013 was a bit up and down for many people, so onwards and upwards to 2014. Enjoy any celebrations tonight and best wishes :-) ######

Just got back from a fabulous day at Wilmslow Riding Club- well done to all those who competed :-) lots of thrills and a few spills but everyone still smiling at the end of the day :-D AND we missed the rain! Yey :-)

Looking forward to sponsoring Wilmslow Riding Club's Cross Country Competition on 28th April, closing date tomorrow 19th! Have ordered rosettes, have ordered trophies, just need to order glorious sunny weather (with a gentle horse-cooling breeze!) :-D

There's life in the old horse yet! Have been strengthening my 23 year old superstar thoroughbred furiously over the winter and rode him on Saturday for the first time since December and he felt amazing!! Don't give up on the oldies :-)

On the snowy and icy days when its too dangerous to go out, don't forget to keep your horse in shape with stable based exercises! Your Chartered Vet Physio will be able to advise you on the best exercises for your horse. Good luck for the season ahead :-)

Urges everyone to be on their guard - 3 horses stolen in Altrincham this week, one of which (Named 'Spirit') has still not been found. Spread the word to all your friends and neighbours whether they have horses or not, the more people who know the better.

would like to thank all the Chartered Veterinary Physios from up and down the country who made the trip to Knutsford for a fantastic CPD weekend. Vibrant discussion and exchanging of ideas and experiences from Big Cats in Bolivia to Neuro rehab case studies and the presentation of research formed the basis of the weekend, aswell as demonstrations and presentations from the wider MDT. Excellent but exhausting!
