Poconos Wildlife Rehab: dumped dog that is up for adoption too if you know anyone looking. Her name is Amara she's around 6 or 7. Spayed and UTD on shots. House trained and pretty well behaved overall so far. She's currently on a diet because she is overweight. Should be around 45/50lbs but was 70. She's dropping weight but still has a bit to go.

Looking for a volunteer who is familiar with sheep. Our boy Quicksilver is being stubborn and will not let us groom him. His wool is soiled, and the farmer that shears him won't do it until spring. Please text 570-360-5702 if you think you can offer a lending hand. Thank you 🙏

Snow went home with her forever family yesterday! She has lived at our rescue for nearly four years. We will miss Snow so much but know that she's going to be spoiled rotten as an indoor turkey. 💙💓

🌟 Huge shout-out to NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative for hosting an amazing Holiday Adoption Event at the Marketplace this past Saturday! 🎄🐰

We’re beyond thrilled to share that three of our rabbit residents — Piper, Paprika, and Penelope — found their forever home together! 💕 They’ll get to stay side-by-side and thrive in a loving environment.

We also had several community members express interest in Marvin, Gunner, and Wyatt, which makes us so hopeful for their future homes! 🏡

This was by far our most successful adoption event for rabbits here at Sleepy Hollow Acres Rescue, and we’re so grateful to NEPA AWC for giving us the opportunity to connect with so many amazing adopters.

Many thanks to Brian and his family for providing much needed mulch for the animals!! We appreciate it more than you know! 💖 I'll be laying it all down by the end of the day, but we can already see the difference. And, the babies are going to town on the bugs which is an added bonus.
