Beautiful. Thank you for giving them the life that they deserve.

I love that he’s so comfortable in the car and loves to play outside. Sounds like the perfect cat!

I love that he’s so comfortable in the car and loves to play outside. Sounds like the perfect cat!

I just happened onto Craigslist one day and found an ad from people giving away a free kitten. I really wasn't looking for a cat, having two already, but I just fell in love with his little face and couldn't resist.
So I messaged the people and arranged to pick him up later that week. We met at a local shopping centre, and I brought someone with me since going to meet strangers on my own sounded like a bad idea.
On the way home, we stopped at a Wendy's to get two Frosties. I got a chocolate and the other a vanilla. So the person that came with me was holding the small kitten in one hand and the Frosty in the other. We could tell the kitten was hungry and he really wanted some of that Frosty, so they tried to let the kitten have a little lick. However, it just happened to be as I hit a bump.
The poor kitten got vanilla Frosty all over his little black face, but he took it like a champ and just licked as much as he could before his face was wiped down with a napkin. One of us remarked how he was kind of a beast, because he hadn't been as scared as most other kittens would have been. The name just stuck.
Now, Frosty Beast is four years old and just as tenacious as ever. He loves to play and go outside, and he even loves to go for car rides. He is the best companion I could ever ask for, and I am most grateful for that (pretty much only) time I went to Craigslist.

You truly did something amazing. I'm so happy to know these kittens were saved.

You truly did something amazing. I'm so happy to know these kittens were saved.

We were on our way home from the grocery store, driving down a farm-to-market road. I glanced out the side window and I thought I saw the outline of a kitten in the tall grass on the side of the highway.

We pulled over, and I expected to see some feral cats scatter. Instead, two tiny kittens ran full speed into our arms. They were starving and covered in ticks and fleas. We were very sad to see that three of their litter mates had been run over on the road.

We took them home and bathed them and took them to the vet for a check up the next day. They were so emaciated that the doctor said they probably wouldn't have lasted even a day or two longer if we hadn't come along.

We already had three cats we had rescued, but we took them in anyway, and they were immediately accepted by the other kitties and now we can't imagine not having them!

The tabby boy we named Taz, and the orange girl we named Roadie (we originally thought she was a boy). These two are inseparable, and now they are just part of our five-cat family.

I can't imagine why someone would dump a litter of tiny kittens on the side of a highway to fend for themselves, but we consider ourselves very lucky to have found these two!

It’s great you found a specialist with such impressive training—Poppy’s in good hands!

Well, spoke too soon. Poppy’s limping is still happening pretty often and very randomly and she’s back to buckling.

She’ll be fine one minute and not the next. She’s definitely favoring that back leg when it happens and when examining it myself earlier, I did feel a pop where her kneecap is.

She hasn’t needed pain meds for a few days now but I may give her some just to keep her comfortable so her body can rest since rest is what’s most important right now.

Luckily, I was able to make an appointment with a great orthopedic specialist/surgeon for as early as next week. He was trained by some of the best (including the vet who invented the TPLO surgery) so I have high hopes for his consultation.

Please keep Pop (and my wallet) in your thoughts.

🥴❤️

This video makes me appreciate how much love and sacrifice mother cats give.

Looking at Rosie, I see a bright future ahead for her.

This little angel was tossed out of a car on the highway coming into my town last week - thank goodness the lady driving behind the car saw it and raised the alarm. Our community looked for this baby high and low until someone found her crying in some bushes at 2am. She is miraculously unhurt besides being dehydrated and hungry, the family that found her has adopted her ❤️ her name is now Rosie and she will live the rest of her days as a princess ❤️❤️❤️

Pickle: "Just a little, enough to remind me you still love me!"

Shame Pickle for looking at me like this!
He wanted my lunch, not 'daddos' lunch, but mine. Pickle tapped me on the arm, dug his claws in my leg, gave me this look and then whined. Aaaaand... he got some of my lunch 🤦‍♀️
(The next step in this harassment is pure thievery, so it's better to give in with a tiny bit of food or I'd end up with nothing)

I still cry watching this beautiful story
