Someone is serious about her blanket. She got herself all snuggled up like this herself. She seems to be doing pretty good. She is back on kidney food with supplements that will help where her body is deficient. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if her kidney levels stabilized? That is what I’m praying for. By the way, Holly is a Christmas baby, having been born on December 26th 2016. Her full name, given by her original mommy, is “Holiday Style.”

Caught the tail end of one of Holly’s play sessions. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see this beautiful girl play. Her energy levels have sky rocketed and she continues to eat on her own. I’m taking her for more bloodwork today and an ultrasound of her kidneys, to see if we can find out what caused the quick progression of her kidney disease.

This is the first time I’ve seen her eat since at least August 24th. I’ve been syringe feeding her which is very time consuming and stressful for Holly. Too bad she was eating dog food, which means I still had to feed her cat food, so she gets enough Taurine. Fingers crossed that she starts eating cat food.

Caught two of my girls snuggling. Holly had a rough weekend. She was very sick on Saturday, but I gave her extra supportive care. She is doing better, thank goodness.

I’m sorry for the lack of updates. I have been very busy taking care of Holly, including, daily feedings, since she still isn’t eating on her own. However, the change in her is night and day. She still isn’t acting normal, but she is more social and so much stronger. I have some new kidney support supplements coming in the mail, so I will be adding that to her daily supplements. We did 30 day bloodwork and her FIP markers are slowly improving, but kidneys are still stage 3. I am still hoping the kidneys were an issue caused by FIP. Prayers please, that her kidneys improve. We still have a ways to go. Luckily, a CNC machine that I preordered arrived and I was able to sell it to fund the rest of Holly’s treatment Thank you so much for all of those who have sent your love, support and donations.

For those of you following Holly’s fight against FIP, here’s an update. She is doing well and enjoys her favorite spot in front of the window every morning. She started eating for a few days and is back to not eating, so I am syringe feeding again. We are asking for prayers that she will start eating on her own soon. We switched to pills because I couldn’t stand the pain each shot gave her 😢 We still have about $2244 in meds ($5.50 per pill X 6 per day x 68 more days). We also have to do bloodwork every month for 6 months and that gets $$$. If you are able to do so, consider a donation to our gofundme (link in bio) or PayPal sigurros492 at gmail. ❤️😘

Here is a baby Holly to get your Friday going right! She continues to improve daily. She is up to 6.39 lbs as of our morning weigh in. I’m improving too, as I did her injection solo yesterday! Holly is going to need a lot of TLC. She is underweight and has a few health issues of concern, likely related to poor nutrition. She is already getting comfortable with me. She gave me many head bonks and wanted to be touched today. She will eat food off of my finger and ate some dry food. She “honks” like Teddy from , which is so adorable. I just picked these two up a state away. They unfortunately lost their mom to a heart condition. They are Mikey’s brother and sister by blood, so when I was contacted to ask if I could foster these two, it was an easy decision to make. Over the next few weeks they will be separated from my cats and I will have them fully vetted. Right now they are scared, but seem to have the very sweet “Oriental Shorthair” temperament.
