Take care of your pets this evening. I do offer desensitisation training for pets who are scared of fireworks and their human parents ❤️

Does your cat sleep like this? If so, then be happy as this shows that your cat feels safe and happy where they are.

A cat's tummy is it's most vulnerable area so to sleep with it exposed shows great trust and contentment in you and your home ❤️

the benefits of positive reinforcement for our canine friends (also works for any animal and human!).
Kindness is always the way to achieve long lasting results and you end up with a more well-rounded animal at the end of it.

While punishment or negative techniques may have a faster result, they end up leaving a fearful animal behind - no trust, friendship or respect in your relationship.

I know which one I'd choose :)

I thought I'd start by sharing a success story of my own. 6 months ago, I started to foster a 4 month old feral kitten called KitKat.

The day I met him, he was clinging to the inside of his cat carrier hoping no one would see him. I decided to take him on for a few weeks to bring him around so he could find his forever home.

So with time, patience, kindness, cuddles and lots of love, he began to transform. After 2 weeks he started to purr and enjoy his cuddles. He made friends with another foster cat I had, then a few months later I introduced him to my cat and the deal was done!

I've never seen a cat love another cat quite so much as KitKat loves Chuck. There's always a greeting tail and vocalisations on offer when he sees him, and they are always together. It's a true love story.

The power of love and kindness knows no bounds 🖤.
