Just a story I heard.

BRUSH out your horse’s Fairy Reins. Don’t ever cut them out.

As the story goes, when a child dies, it makes all the angels in Heaven cry, and their tears make it too hard to see, to bring that child to Heaven.

So the fairies rush to help. But the fairies are so small, that they can’t make it all the way to Heaven on their own.

So they braid a rein into a horse’s mane and borrow the horse in the dark of night to get the child up to Heaven.

When you cut out a Fairy Rein, or roach a horse’s mane, they can’t borrow your horse.

Today.......... 🐎. Today I stand before God and he greets me with a smile.😊❤️ You Cover Drive, your loyalty, love and respect, you being an exemplary friend and horse to humans. You have been the best horse one could wish for. You might have stood a mighty 17,3 hands, but you were so much more than that. A gentle giant with a heart of Gold. Never a mean bone in your body. You deserved the respect the love the loyalty because that is what you gave out. ❤️ God grants you your wings that you may fly high, jump high and run like the wind.
You gave your humans the very best of your life. You loved your jumping with Kai, gosh you had fun. You loved your rides and giggles with Sinead, you always loved her laugh. You were your moms heart beat. You were her dream.

♥️Today we thank you for the past 12 years of your life. At 17 you had a good life. Not always easy but the last 12 years were the best. A carrot definitly made the world rotate. ♥️

Today I great my 4 legged mom Mumishka once again. My dear friend Jake, we can play once again.

You will be in our hearts and memories and forever missed 💔

So i was doing super well. Mom was counting on getting shavings and getting ready for me to go home. No my bladder has not started to work on its own yet, she just gets super excited on the chance. So on friday night i coliced with an impaction, mom came to see me on saturday afternoon and was not happy with my hydration. So things just went back 2 feet.
Mom is sad and i am depressed. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

Mom and granny came to see me early this morning. I was super happy for the visit and mostly the carrots. I ran out of carrots 2 days ago 😳. How is one meant to take anti biotics with out carrots 😳🙄 i ask, how. And then i had to teach the vets how to bring them closer to my face so i could see and taste to check if they are the real thing. 😁🐴 They are.
Ok so i cannot urinate yet but hold thumbs i will beable to do that on my own real soon.

Feeling so much better, leg dont drag anymore and i can sort of move. I do get super grumpy real fast, i am super tired and cannot sleep well yet.
Mom says, just one step closer to going home.
Still positive up the nose. Cannot urinate yet but back legs are almost working.

Mom and Kai, Granny can to visit. I am feeling a bit better i can lift my back leg up 😂 give mare ears to all that dont hand over a carrot. Dr says i am doing ok. Bladder still not doing what is needs to do on its own, but i am trying hard.
Loved having a visit and grooming.
Thanks Dr lilly for all your loving.

Onderstepoort vet clinic.
Wow! My mom came to see me today. I am so super tired. I need to sleep but so scared to ly down and have a good sleep. Its not my stable.
Mom says my back legs are working a bit better but i am still super wobble on my hooves. I am still standing 😁
DR Graham still needs to help me with my urinating, i do try but the nerves are just not there to do it.
He did say it will come back. I do hope soon.
My Vet student looking after my gave mom a stunning pic of me. She is really good.
I do like her lots.

My Dr Graham says i am doing great. I have not got worse which is a great thing and i am still standing. I wobble a lot but i can do this. Mom spent the day with me and loved my carrots. Loving the little food i am aloud. Lots of love and grooming it was a good day.
Starting new meds today so hope they work and gets me back home soon.
Doc says i will be here for at least 14 days.
There are a few things he wants me to do on my own without his help.

A new special super power of mine. When i do this with my nose my Mom knows what it means now.
