The weather has been so beautiful the last few days and we were so happy to see that our honeybees made it through the snowstorm and numerous days and nights of negative temperatures. 🐝 ❤️ 🍯
I’m not ready for summer to be over…
We were out doing chores in the chicken yard today, I had a very big helper. “I’m strong enough.” This was too cute not to share! 💪🏼❤️
Our babies we hatched are finally laying eggs regularly. MacKoy is a fan of collecting a bunch of eggs each day 😊🥚🐓
These guys like the sprinkler as much as the kiddos do! 💦
The honeybees are loving this warm weather ☀️
These babies are so sweet! They love attention and snuggles ❤️🐥
The honeybees were loving the 80+ degree weather yesterday! I checked on the hives and the queens are hard at working laying eggs and getting their numbers up for the spring honey flow! 🐝 🍯
The first chick has arrived! Enjoy the commentary and forgive the wiggling on the video- had two very excited little ones watching! 🐥
I hope y’all are as excited as we are and don’t mind all the posts but here is a lunch update: more eggs are pipped and the little one from this morning has made progress. Peep his little beak moving around.
The kids’ favorite chick “Baby” has been laying her eggs in one of my planters lately. The kids are always excited to go out and find it there. She’s a silly one but we love her. 🥚🐥❤️
What a beautiful 70 degree day today! The honey bees are out enjoying the weather with us! 🐝🍯
We are trying our hand at hatching some of our own eggs and a few from Meyer Hatchery this year. Today was day 7 in the incubator so we candled them to check for fertility. The kids were excited that both the eggs from their favorite chick were fertile. So far all the eggs are looking good. Two more weeks until we have some fuzz balls 🐥🐣
