KyGreyhounds Placement Presents - The 5TH ANNUAL GREYT FEST 2021! OCT 23, 2021 from 10am-5pm
This year, along with a new date, we have a new format for the event. This year we have outdoor and indoor vendors. We will have a safe and dedicated place for our sighthounds as well. Outside will offer all dog breeds to participate in the festivities. The main entrance to Floral Hall will allow all humans and dogs access to the restroom and to the photograher. The Pet Communicator, Auction items and the Paw Draw game will also be accessed by all attendees.
The remaining majority of Floral Hall will be our "Sighthound Sanctuary" where only Sighthounds and their owners will have access and not need to worry about other breeds.
We will follow CDC and Kentucky Covid-19 restrictions in place at that time.
We hope to see all the hounds and humans we missed seeing in person in 2020. To date, we have been honored to have hounds and humans from IL, IN, MO, NC, NY, OH, SC, TN, TX, WI, WV, and of course KY. It is greyt seeing old friends and making new ones. Hopefully 2021 will give us all a chance to enjoy another live Greyt Fest!
NEW DATE: October 23, so we will have cooler temps and beautiful Fall colors to enjoy!
NEW FORMAT: Indoor and Outdoor Fest will be Covid "friendlier"
SAME LOCATION: Shelby County Fairgrounds, Floral Hall, 1513 Midland Trail, Shelbyville, KY 40065 (20 min. east of Louisville)
FREE EVENT! DONATIONS APPRECIATED!
*Covid protocols, hotel options, preorder lunch, event t-shirts, and schedule will be found on our website as well as Facebook via KyGreyhounds or KyGreyhounds Friends. Details still TBD.
Please email [email protected] with pre-order for event t-shirts. Short-sleeved tshirts are $20; Long-sleeved t-shirts are $25.
Please be patient with us as we explore options that this date affords us.
Our schedule is yet to be finalized but we expect to include:

*Blessing of the Hounds (outdoors)
*Costume Contest (outdoors)
*A Special Speaker (indoors)
*Raffles (indoors)
