Start preparing for the 4th of July now. Make sure your dogs tags and microchips are up to date. Make sure all doors and windows are securely closed at your home. Keep music playing loudly or have the tv on throughout the day to lessen the risk of your dog being frightened during the fireworks. If you stay home with your dog, consider a thunder shirt. Do NOT take your dog with you under any circumstances to see fireworks.

More doggies go lost on the 4th of July then any other day of the year. Do NOT take your dog to watch fire works or light them near them. If you leave your dog at home please make sure all windows and doors are kept closed. And to lessen the noise of the fireworks, always leave the tv or radio on. Happy 4th!
