Pets are like little family members, and we want them to be healthy and happy.โค๏ธ As a way to show them how much we love and care, we often cannot resist the urge to share our snacks with them too.๐๐ผ
However, some human foods can be very harmful or even fatal to our little furry members.๐ฆ

Pets, esp. Cats are not able to digest lactose, the sugar in milk, after they are weaned. Consuming milk and other dairy products can cause diarrhea, vomiting, gas, and bloating.
Even if your cat is lactose intolerant, you should avoid giving her any milk or dairy products like cheese, yogurt, or butter as a regular meal. Instead, It can only be given as a treat/snack for them once in a while in moderation.

It can affect the central nervous system, liver function, and blood sugar levels. Signs of alcohol intoxication include vomiting, disorientation, high body temperature, restlessness, excessive panting, muscle tremors, and seizures. Alcohol can also cause coma and death in dogs. You should never give your pet any alcohol or leave any alcoholic beverages where your pet can access them. It can cause intoxication in pets

It contains substances called methylxanthines, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, increased thirst, abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures, and even death in cats. The darker the chocolate or the more caffeine it contains, the more dangerous it is. You should also keep your cat away from all caffeinated beverages like coffee, tea, or energy drinks.
The same goes for pet parrots, dairy products should be consumed in moderation, as birds are lactose-intolerant. Very salty foods (chips, pretzels, popcorn), chocolate, products containing caffeine (coffee, tea, soda), and alcoholic beverages should be avoided.
