Starting young prospects is such slow work with me. I compromise perfection early on to build confidence and preseve expression. Canterbury was very very hot with this ride and instead of trying to suppress it, I went with him.

Going with a big moving warmblood like CB is not for the faint of heart lol. Especially while he lacks the strengh for a more balanced trot. But free movement is so important early on, which is also why we haven't introduced the bit just yet.

So here he is looking lovely while I try to sit lighty on his young back and not restrict his forward with my hands.

I have one full training spot open starting in January for the right fit.
