Hi, everyone! Mom and Dad told me I was going to a very special place today, and I was so excited. They told me I would get to see my sister Janie again! But then they told me I had to go there by myself, and they couldn't come with me, and I was really sad. I was also worried because I didn't know who would take care of Mom & Dad if I wasn't there with them. But they told me that in the most important ways, I will always be with them and they will always be with me, and that made me feel a little bit better.
They told me this special place was called the Rainbow Bridge and that Janie would be waiting on the other side. They were crying when they told me about it, but somehow I also knew they were doing the best thing for me. I will be sad that I can't sleep in their bed anymore, and won't be with them for A Long Ride to the Arizona and other fun places. But I trust them when they say we will be together again and that made me feel better.
I've been so happy to have so many special friends here! I will miss writing to you all, but you will all be with me in my heart. Please give extra hugs to your pups and kitties and any other furry family members.
