the generosity & kindness that was put into this gift means SO MUCH. our kiddos can’t wait to get snuggly with these handmade fleece items, just in time for the holiday season 🎁 our hearts have grown 10x after receiving this gift & lovely card ❤️

Goodnight from Penn (now Earl) & Kit (now Chai) 💤

Both these babies are past fosters of mine from this year. Penn was a single foster & Kit was from a litter of 3. Only a few weeks apart in age 🥹 Funny enough: these two cats actually slept 1 night together in my house! Penn was 12 weeks old, going to his home the next day. & Kit was 3 weeks old, entering my home for foster care. When I passed off Penn to his family, we jokingly said, “you may be back for a sister!”. Sure enough, they wanted more 😆
These two babies had such similar demeanor, I knew they’d be a perfect match for lifelong siblings. Their lovely family are past LHR piggy adopters & frequent Pignic visitors! I love getting weekly updates & keeping in touch with my bottle baby fosters… insanely rewarding!! 🥹💛

You guys have no idea how much these donations mean to me, but most importantly this piggy in front of you!! I know this baby girl is thinking, “ALL FOR ME?!?” 🩷

This baby has quite the story, that I can’t wait to share more details on soon. She’s from our recent neglect case that I haven’t done a full story on yet (protection & legal reasons). This piggy has never been touched by humans, lived outside free roaming, & watched her siblings get demolished by cats. 🥺 The way her life has flipped upside down for the better is exactly why we do what we do! But we can’t do it without you!! Thank you to everyone who has sent donations 🎄

I wanted to give everyone a happy update that the two old men, Walter & Wilbur, were placed into long term foster (poss. adopt) home this weekend 🤎
Erika & her family, who foster for LHR, have a soft heart for old men! We are so grateful for their support & dedication towards our organization when it comes to fostering & helping us fundraise. We are astatic that they opened their home up to these ancient boys 🥹🥹

Thank you for all the love & shares on these kiddos. We wish every piggy got the attention they did on their post! Please keep in mind we have over 20 guinea pigs available for adoption in our rescue. Additionally, we have many babies being born soon & those coming off pregnancy watch. Easily 10-15+ more cute faces needing homes soon too!🐹

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY 🥹💞✨🎂

If you know me, you know Little Hearts Rescue is my heart. I started it when I was just 6 years old, playing Barbies & making them run an “animal rescue.” Now, at 24, I get to wake up every day & live that dream 🥹 Through all the hard parts, the late night bottle feedings, the vet trips, & the heartbreaking cases. Yet there is so much joy I’m still able to carry everyday, doing this wild life 🩷

This community has been such a blessing. Every message, share, & donation reminds me that I’m not doing this alone! We’re doing this together. 🫂

For my birthday this year, I’m asking for a $12 donation towards our organization. With so many new intakes, vet visits, & supplies that constantly need replenishing (plus a few hoarding cases coming in, still waiting to share about the neglect case), every dollar means the world right now.

These boys would be perfect for first time piggy owners! Cookie and Biscoff are the sweetest pair there is. Cookie is an American guinea pig around 2-3 years old, buddied up with his friend Biscoff, a 10 month old American piggy. These two are often doing zoomies or wheeking at you for more head pets and treats.

Adoption fee: $50 for the pair

Oscar is a social, cuddly, and active baby bu. Just at 10-12 weeks old, this kiddo is full of life! He can be spunky, often binking around his pen. But also has a very chill and cuddly side, allowing for perfect head pets or flopping beside you. He entered the rescue at just 3-4 weeks old, after being found dumped. He is 100% litter box trained, which is impressive at such a young age! He is used to living in an x-pen, and free roaming occasionally. Oscar also has been fostered in a home with a large, gentle dog and a kind cat. Oscar is ready to find a forever home, one that understand the commitment of owning a rabbit.

Rabbits are 10+ year commitments. You are to care for them their whole life, through lifestyle changes, expensive vet bills, etc. Please do NOT apply if you’re not ready for this commitment.

Oscar does not come fixed, however, we can work with the adopters to getting his neuter preformed at a low-cost price, with one of our partnering vet hospitals. We highly recommend this and hope the adoptive home will conduct research on the pros of fixing their pet.

Adoption fee: $55
