Melissa's cremation is completed. A sweet little girl now free from her body. Joins alot of siblings at the rainbopw bridge.

We know some FeLV cats have shorter lives. We cannot do anything about it. We cant change the outcome.

But what we can change is the quality of their lives when they are still alive. We want them to wake up each day knowing they are so special and so loved. they can eat whateever they like, play with any toy they want. And know they are loved every minute.

Happy birthday Penny. Her birthday cake is a wet food and peppered wth lots of freeze dried treats.
It is the first time we celebrated her birthday and we want to let her know how precious she is! And loved by everyone!

Today, Melissa passed away.
She came to us in Jan this year and was a quiet girl. She spent almost a year happily with her new siblings. She is lucky to have met a kind rescuer who asked us to take her in instead of putting her down.

In loving memory of Sawyer T. Rabbit (17 Apr 2011 - 20 Sept 2025)
Uncle Rabbit passed away peacefully this evening.
He was a FIV+ cat and most likely abandoned. When rescued, he was in very bad shape and the feeder sought help from a "rescue" group and was advised to euthanise Rabbit.
Luckily, the feeder refused. When we saw his photo, we reached out to adopt him. That was in Jun 2019.
Rabbit was traumatized and in his self defense, he would hiss and ready to attack. It took 6 months before he calmed down and accepted us. Thereafter, he enjoyed hugs and bonded with his siblings. The little ones loved him and he became their favourite Uncle Rabbit.
In Jun 2022, after Seng Seng passed away, Rabbit became the cat CEO of Gold-D.
Rabbit is an amazing cat brought everyone joy. His life is also a good example against convenience euthanasia.
Rabbit was the star of his documentary "Saving Sawyer T. Rabbit" that won multiple awards from around the world.

This morning, kiki passed away.
She is FIV and FeLV+ and there was no warning signs of her being unwell. She was still playing with her siblings last night.
We cannot change the fact that she is FIV and FeLV+ but we can change the quality of their lives.
Kiki was a very happy girl and she bonded very well with her siblings. She is always happy, cheerful and playful and very popular with her siblings. We are glad to have this chance to look after her.
