I have been training animals for 10 years now and my background is zookeeping with a degree is psychology with a focus on animal behavior studies.

I am going to start taking dog training clients again here soon! I do work all breed and behaviors.

I also will be scheduling a 4 session group class here soon that will most likely be held at Goodale park in Columbus Ohio, cost will be $125 and we will be going over all of the basics as well as terminology and distractions!
Sit, down, - I don’t teach stay, I teach your dog to not get up- come, heel, wait, no jumping and whatever else we can fit into that time frame ❤
Chances will be the classes will be around 7pm on Sundays

I do specialize in service dog task work with psych and light mobility training.

$100 for service dog and aggression work

Did some fun work with Otis today!!
Working on desensitization of loud sounds and heavy machinery. Of course the cat wanted to join in on the fun and get some hotdogs!!
Fun fact of the day you train a cat the same way you train a dog!

To all my dog parents 🙂
Enrichment is used at zoos and you have lots at your house sure!!
What is enrichment? It is anything that enhances or changes anyone/ anything’s day. Think toys or another route on a walk!!
This is so smart! You could even do frozen goodies with water in a king or something similar for this summer!! Get creative and tag me!!
I would love to see what you guys come up with!

It’s getting hot out there! Our featured is made by freezing goodies in a water balloon inside of a hol-ee roller and then removing the balloon once frozen, leaving you with an engaging and novel enrichment item that’s more challenging than a traditional ice treat.

I promise. You are enough. If you’re an owner with a dog who isn’t a wiggly chocolate lab who can play with any other dog it meets, IT’S OKAY! The majority of dog owners don’t have dogs who they can just bring to any friend’s backyard BBQ and let them run around with other dogs without issue. I speak to these owners daily! Your dog is happy without the unnecessary stress of forced dog meetings and pressure on them. You’ll be happier too once you let those expectations go 💞 I have a dog who is very dominant and needs to meet dogs in a very controlled and specific way, and the only reason he meets any dog is to help them through the training process. We do not do it “just for fun” because I finally accepted that’s who he IS! We hike, we play, we walk, we cuddle. We don’t go to dog parks. We don’t meet other dogs on the walk and I certainly don’t bring him to BBQ’s and let him run around. And I’m at peace with that. Love your dog for who they are!

Hey guys. With the massive winter storm coming our way, please be prepared for anything to happen. Remember, food, water, backup batteries and external chargers if you have them.
Please don’t forget to salt if you can.
Dogs feet are very sensitive and while some dogs do great and love the snow, some may not.
If you have a puppy, they might not want to go out in the freezing temperatures and that’s ok. Please be patient with them:) they’re doing their best :)
