The HERO DAWGS extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by Vancouver’s recent tragedy. Words may fall short in healing the profound sorrow within the Filipino community, but we sincerely hope that time brings comfort and solace to your hearts.

Yesterday, we had the honor of serving our dedicated healthcare and first responder teams at Vancouver General Hospital, providing emotional support in the ICU and emergency departments. The strength and resilience displayed by these professionals during such a challenging time has been truly inspiring.

Let us not forget the emotional toll that caring for victims of these senseless acts takes on those on the front lines. We encourage everyone to take a moment to send positive thoughts and support to the healthcare workers and first responders who continue to care for the victims currently in the hospital, and their families. Together, we can foster a spirit of hope and healing.

HERO DAWGS Pet Therapy Society, in partnership with Odlum Brown, is thrilled to announce our Mother’s Day Bark Brunch.

Grab your fur baby and don your Sunday best, guests will enjoy fabulous food and a furry fun fest!

~ A seated brunch for you, along with a special treat for your pup!
~ Visit the Barkin Bubbly Bar for a refreshing PAWSecco.
~ The Biscuit Bar will be open to purchase some tasty doggy treats.
~ Dress your best for a FURmily photo at our designated photo spot.
~ Visit the Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital booth to learn about their
canine blood donor program, and discover how your dog can become a donor!
~ Exciting prizes will be available through our “Buy a Bone” raffle.

June is Pride Month, an entire month dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ+ voices, a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and the support of LGBTQ+ rights.

Did you know each color on the flag has its own meaning? In the widely known six-color flag, red is symbolic of life, orange is symbolic of healing, yellow is sunshine, green is nature, blue represents harmony and purple is spirit.

Love is love and a dog’s love knows no boundaries.

We are humbled by their generosity, and their donation will go directly to recruiting more hospital HERO DAWGS for the mental wellness of our healthcare heroes. Now that’s something to bark about!
