I would like to introduce Solomon to all of our Sugar Creek Collie followers! He joined our pack today and will be one of our studs in a few years! He has great genetics and a wonderful pedigree. Thanks so much to Goldleaf Collies for giving us a super sweet guy! I can't wait to see what the future holds for him!

I'm not sure about WANTING my house to smell like a dog, but I could never be without one, or two in my house! Hoping my house smells nice, at any rate!

and despite all they have suffered they don't smell a grudge....

His time has finally come!!! Congratulations to the Olson family who added Ezekiel to their family today!!! He is headed to Wisconsin and will be called Zeek!! This was such a bittersweet day for me, but knowing Zeek will be happy and very loved makes it all worth it!! Thank you, Olson family. I know you will love Zeek . He is an awesome guy. ❤️

And now.....drum roll please 🥁.... Ezekiel has found his furever home!!! He will be heading to Wisconsin this weekend! Although this is bittersweet for me, I am SO happy for him! He deserves a great life and I know his new home will not disappoint!! Will post updates when pickup day arrives!

It's finally time to put this beautiful big guy up for discussion. Ezekiel will be 23 weeks on July 20th, so he is 5½ months. Ezekiel is a special case, so we will be looking for a specific type of family to give him a forever home. A little backstory on Ezekiel: He was diagnosed with a grade one, soft heart murmur at 6 weeks old. We were dedicated to giving him his best life. He was checked regularly with no change in his murmur, meaning it had not improved, but had not gotten worse for the next few months. However, at his last check, our vet found that the murmur had greatly reduced! Praise God, the murmur is closing! We feel that it is time to let him go to his new family. Ezekiel is a fun, very happy boy! He was doing well with leash walking, but he's entered his goofy, teenage time and gets distracted easily! He knows how to sit and is working on potty training. He has a lot of energy. Jumping is his worst fault. He needs a family that will give him a lot of time, exercise, and training. Please, serious inquiries only, as we will be screening those who are interested so Ezekiel can have his best life! Limited registration only with a neuter contract. Ezekiel is CEA carrier, clear for MDR1, and clear by parentage or PRA, DM, CN, and HUU. He is on NexGard for fleas and ticks, and will be started on interceptor plus for heartworm at 6 months if he is still in our care. We are not in a rush to see him go and will keep him as long as necessary. We are located in East Central Illinois. P.m. if interested.

Well, Fira has a collar of her own! She will be joining our breeding program here at Sugar-Creek-Collies! I'm not sure of her AKC name yet, but we will stick with her call name of Fira, which means "God's gift" and she truly is that! ❤️

Our only boy has become available, but only to the right home. I will be very picky about where he goes. He has special circumstances and I want to be sure he is cared for properly. Ezekiel was diagnosed with a grade 1 heart murmur at 6 wks. Our vet reassured us that it is just a freak thing and it just happens sometimes. We have kept vigilant with getting him checked and today, found out his murmur has greatly reduced!!!! So, it is closing and we are so thankful for that....an answer to prayer! Our vet was very pleased! So, if you feel you would be the right home for our sweet guy, pm me and we can talk. He is 21 wks, 5 mths on July 9th, and weighs 40 lbs. He is a playful, totally happy boy that also loves cuddles and belly rubs. He is a CEA carrier, MDR1 clear, and clear by parentage for PRA, DM, CN, and HUU. He will only be available at limited registration with a neuter contract. Any family would be lucky to have him join! Could it be you?

12 weeks today!!! Cherub has been a joy to have with us while waiting on his furever home. He does very well with come and sit (most of the time), is adjusting to wearing a collar, but is not a fan of the leash. He would rather carry it and take ME for a walk! He loves visiting his grown up family...Mom, Dad, Aunt Faith, Aunt Grace, and Big brother Adam! Cherub is pending pickup this weekend, and will stay an Illinois boy! I sure will miss him...❤️
