**RESCUED**Just got a 911 call about this baby!!! The lady that contacted me said that the owner of the park wld be there today and "get rid of" this baby if he saw it there😡😭 Can anyone help this sweet little?!?! I can't take kittens to my house because my dogs are @$$holes🙄😭 PLEASE SHARE!
I know y'all hate seeing me make a post because we're always asking for something 😔 And unfortunately, here we come asking again. A homeless guy that lives in his car near us made the stupid decision to run from the police yesterday and of course was arrested, leaving his fur babies (2 dogs) behind 😭 They are placed for the time being, but they are gonna need food l, worming, and shots! As of right now, we have no idea when or if he will get out any time soon! I will get pics this evening to share of them. But right now, we've even had to stop feeding some of the local strays (which absolutely kills me when they go to their bowls and see nothing there) so we are gonna need a little help feeding these babies. We were told they usually get a can of cat food and a little dry food every day. They need more than that, so I want to get them some good food in their bellies for right now anyway! We don't use expensive food, but try to avoid the cheapest also. If anyone wld like to donate or donate food instead of money, we would be so very grateful! We feed Pedigree chicken adult and puppy food. The babies are a 12 week old Pitty baby, and a 3 yr old Pitty mix. As always, thank y'all for everything you do!

I had planned on getting up and cancelling Ravens appointment this morning (the little 5 pound Chi that was bred by the big dog) since we have only raised $8 towards her spay. But I've got to have faith that something will come through! This baby will die if she carries these puppies 😭 I prayed about it, and I'm taking her to her appointment! Y'all please say a prayer that we can get this covered! It's not her fault and she shouldn't have to pay with her life! Total will be around $200😞

Most people think that cats do nothing, are lazy and do nothing but eat and sleep ...
It is not so!
Do you know what a cat's mission is?
All cats have the power, every day, to remove the negative energy accumulated in our body ... as soon as we fall asleep, they absorb that energy. If there is more than one person in the family, and only one cat, it can accumulate an excessive amount of negativity by absorbing energy from so many people ... When they sleep, the cat's body releases the negativity it takes away from us.
If we are too stressed, they may not have enough time to release all that negative energy, and so, as a result, it accumulates as fat, until they can release it.
It is nice to have more than one cat in the house, so that the weight is divided between them.
They also protect us during the night, so that no unwanted spirits enter our house or our room while we sleep ... That's why they like to sleep in our bed.
And if they think we're fine, they won't sleep with us.
If there was something strange around us, they jump into our bed and protect us ...
If a person comes to our house, and the cats feel that that person is there to harm us or that he is bad, the cats surround us to "protect" us ...
If you don't have cats, and a stray cat comes into your house and adopts it as a home, it's because you need a cat at that particular time ... So the stray cat volunteered to help you.
Thank the cat for choosing your home for that job.
If you have other cats and can't keep the stray cat, find a place for him.
The cat came for a reason unknown to us on a physical level, and in dreams you can see the reason for the appearance of the cat at that moment.
There may be a debt, some karma he has to pay ... "So don't freak out or frighten the cat."

Look how much the Walmart Babies have grown!! They will be wormed again this week and then ready to start looking for their FUREVER! Since they are babies, they will come with a spay and neuter contract that will be notarized upon adoption! Because of their breed (bully/blue heeler) they will require a fenced in yard! They will also require a letter from your landlord if you don't own your home! This is on top of the other adoption rules!

There's something I need to talk about, and I'm going to try to address it as sensitively as I can.
Our sanctuary was established as a safe haven for senior dogs who have found themselves in unavoidable situations, facing health crisis or homelessness in their twilight years. We have taken in dogs from shelters, strays, owners who are unable to care for them due to their own health, or sadly at the time of their own death.
Owners who would absolutely do anything to change the circumstances so they could keep their dog, but are in unavoidable turmoil and situations outside of their control and the choice has been taken from them.
We have provided sanctuary to dogs who need us, because they have nowhere else to go.
Recently, there has been an uptick in owner requests from people who are missing the point of what we do. If you have a dog, that you have loved and cared for their entire life, and now just can't bring yourself to handle the inconveniences that come with your dog being a senior...we are not the answer. I don't know how people can forget the faithfulness their dog has provided its entire life, and as their body starts to fail and they need their people the most, they would choose to simply surrender their dog instead of supporting them to the end.
As dogs age, as with any living being, their body starts to deteriorate. Organ function, potty function, vision, hearing, mobility...every life has an expiration date, and as they draw nearer to the end, things just don't work like they used to. At absolutely no fault of their own, you have to consider how the dog is feeling after years of "doing the right thing", that first time they don't make it to the door to potty. Will your dog's "accident" be met with kindness and understanding at that time? Or will you be so tremendously inconvenienced that you decide your dog can't live with you anymore?
I don't think people realize what a dog goes through when they are rehomed after years and years with their family. I can tell you that I have cried, many times, for a dog who sits at the window watching for their family and wondering what they've done wrong to make them lose their home. They do not understand. In their deepest time of need, they just want the same support that they've given their humans all these years.
Another misconception that people have, is that we can do anything differently than they are already doing in their power, to provide anything other than a dignified end when it's time. We get messages, "I have a 15 year old dog who is blind and deaf, he has trouble walking and isn't eating well, and can't control his bowels." There comes a time where people think there's something we can do, and time isn't anything I can battle and win. The kindest and most merciful thing anyone can do for their dog is consider their quality of life and be right by their side when you offer that final gift of mercy. It's very difficult to manage these situations where I feel confident a dog might need to meet Jesus instead of me.
More people need to stay committed to their senior pets, I really don't know how else to say it. Offloading the inconvenience of an old dog is not the answer. People just need to do better. Love your old dogs until the end. They need you.

Yes I know that my requirements are extreme! But it is what it is! I refuse to ever put any of these babies back in a situation like they come from! They will only go to perfect APPROVED homes!

“To love a rescuer you must love all of her. You must love the scars covering her body from panicked and hurt animals she was trying to help. You must love her fractured heart, that has been broken so many times she no longer even takes the time to mend the pieces.
To love a rescuer, you must embrace her grit and determination, and know that although she fights a war she can never win, she can and does win a few battles. You must love the tears she will shed over those she lost. You must give her comfort that she refuses to accept, as she blames herself for things she could have never foreseen.
To love a rescuer you must acknowledge the rage she feels towards the world at times, and know that anger is driven by a love of life too few have. You must give her space and room to cry and mourn for the losses that others have caused out of carelessness or cruelty.
To love a rescuer you must understand her passion to heal and save is a calling, not a choice. You must accept that to save animals is part of her soul and without that she could never be happy.
To love a rescuer you must be patient. You must accept her work comes first. She will forgo sleep, forgo food, forgo her life for animals in need. She will work tirelessly until her body and mind fail her completely and she cannot go on.
To Love a rescuer, you must be strong. You must not be threatened by her focus and love of animals. You must accept that the things you love about her, the strength and convictions and loyalty are also what drives her sense of duty to animals in need; you cannot have one without the other.
To love a rescuer you must never ask her to choose, because she will, and it will not be you. “

It's been a LOOOONG week!!! First the 5 little babies from the Walmart parking lot, then Luke the Rottie that was dumped along with his sibling (that unfortunately didn't make it 😭), and then last night, the 3 miracle kids!!! But no matter how exhausted, stressed, mad at the world, or broke, THESE BABIES ARE ALL SAFE!!! WELCOME TO RESCUE YOU PRECIOUS SOULS!!!
