Meet CC—our sweet, brave little girl.

CC has been with us for over a year, and has a heartbreaking diagnosis of severe heart failure with a significantly enlarged heart, as well as a tumor in her stomach. Unfortunately, her condition will require her to remain in our care indefinitely.

Caring for CC comes with a lot of responsibility. Her medical needs are constant, and she requires medication that costs $200 every three weeks and a refill is due now. It’s crucial that she stays on her meds, as missing even a single dose could make her condition worse. We’re doing everything we can to keep her stable and comfortable, but the financial burden is heavy.

CC is under the care of Animal Medical Clinic in Vicksburg, and we’re reaching out to you for help. Your donations will go directly toward her medication and veterinary expenses, allowing us to give her the best care possible and keep her happy and healthy for as long as we can.

CC is truly a special girl, and we want to give her as many good days as possible. Your generosity will make all the difference in her life.

We are in need of towels and a few teddy bears for our babies - eight babies total; 4 each in two foster homes. In 2021, we picked up a very sick little girl from the dumpster on Niven road. She was so frail and fighting for her little life; we rushed her straight to the vet. 💔 Fast forward to now, she just celebrated her fourth birthday in the most wonderful and loving home. ❤️ We were so excited to see her birthday pictures and wanted to share with you! Without the support from our community, this wouldn’t have been possible. We love you Niven and hope you have many more wonderful birthdays ahead. 💖💞🎉🥳 We are so thankful for your family that loves you endlessly. 🥰

🚨 2/11/25 - Little Bit is still missing. The last siting we are aware of was last Friday around 10 o’clock in the morning a few miles down Highway 16 not far from where the accident occurred. The accident occurred earlier that morning around 1:30 am. Please keep sharing and looking for thjs baby. We’re going to reach out to a drone company to see if they can assist us, but the weather today and tomorrow doesn’t look favorable with the rain.

A family was traveling through Yazoo City early this morning when they were involved in a wreck at the intersection of Highway 16 and Highway 49.  Their little Yorkie jumped out of the car and ran off. We’ve had volunteers searching the area, but have not seen anything as of yet. If anyone happens to see this little dog, please reach out to us. We know it’s terrified and we would love to get it back to its owners. Thank

Milk does the body good 🍼 These sweet babies have taken to the bottle and are eating well. We’ve gone through 18 cans of puppy milk replacement since we took them in and they are starting to eat more at each feeding! We are still looking in the area for mama, but no sign yet. 🥺

⭐️ Thank you everyone! We have secured immediate supplies and they’ve all had their first bottle. We’ve reached out to a rescue partner to assist us, as vet care for eight newborn babies is beyond our financial capacity. It takes a village and we appreciate everyone who steps in to help!

We have an emergency! These babies were just picked up from the dumpster across from Benton Academy. They are barely a week old, their eyes are not even opened. 😭 We need milk, bottles, and puppy pads. There was no mama dog in sight and that breaks our heart because we know she’s missing her babies and they need her. 💔. To help these babies, donations can be made here:

Back on January 14th, we asked for your help with getting Little Girl vetted. She had been dumped and showed up at the home of one of our fosters. We want to thank you for your support as we were able to provide her with necessary vet care. She has a brother that showed up with her that we have to vet next. We will be posting his picture soon. Thank you again for helping Little Girl on her journey.. this is a recent picture of her and she’s looking great. Next is to find a home. ❤️
