Included in every HelloReef kit is Dr. Tim's One & Only Saltwater Live Nitrifying Bacteria. What is this product for?It instantly creates a bio filter in your aquarium that can eliminate new tank syndrome and remove toxic ammonia and nitrite without any sulfurs or odors!
Tip ‼️ Shake the bottle very well; the liquid should not be clear. If the liquid is clear, you have more shaking to do! Pour the recommended dose directly onto your biological filter media for the best results. If you do not have a dedicated biofilter, you can just pour dose directly into your aquarium water.

It's overwhelming to think about how much our coral reefs have changed. Here is a visual of just how much of Florida's Coral Reef has been affected over the years.
"The Florida Reef Tract is the world’s third-largest barrier reef, stretching about 360 miles along the southeastern Florida coast. Many factors are leading to the decline of this reef. Those include increasingly warmer and acidic water conditions, the dying off of key symbiotic species and Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease (SCTLD). While the cause of SCTLD is still unknown, it now spans nearly the entire reef and has affected 22 species of stony corals, many of which are suffering complete mortality. In order to save the Florida Reef Tract, immediate, multi-faceted and innovative actions must be implemented."
This is why The Florida Aquarium's mission is so important!

It's Coral Reef Awareness Week, a full week in July dedicated to focusing on ways we as a society can protect and save our reefs! Here are some easy tips on how you can make a difference:
If you are a diver, do not touch the corals.
Be mindful of your water usage (showers especially).
Always keep your trash on your person until you can find a trashcan. Even better, if you find trash on the ground, dispose of it in a nearby trashcan.

We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be partnering with The Florida Aquarium again this year with Aperture Circle. Their focus lies in protecting coral species that are on the brink of extinction in the wild, increasing coral reproduction rates, and advancing overall coral health. They are making a significant impact for our ocean’s futures and generations to come. Like last year, and will be joining forces to offer a collection of co-branded merchandise with 100% of the net proceeds being donated to The Florida Aquarium.
