I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to the people who have adopted my girls so far. Though it has been heartbreaking to see them go, I know they will be well loved and have great lives 💜

So this most recent birth is pretty special to me. My girl, Ella was Mama’s daughter. Mama was my only black, and she passed away last winter. Ella has never had a baby, though exposed to a male every year for the past 3. I had given up expecting a foal from her. Then, out of nowhere she began bagging up! She gave me a beautiful black jenny with brown at the base of her ears.
Apologies in advance, this lady will not be for sale.
Nice swag 👍

My friend Ruby has a gorgeous 2 yr old Jack looking for greener pastures. He’s a friendly sweetheart!
Send me a message if you’re interested!
Beautiful new jack out of our girl Gertie . Isn’t he adorable?
We started Brock on the halter, gradually, taking baby steps. We play with his feet and get him used to the idea of trimming. He has a great attitude- and treats help it along 😉
Little “Brock” sure is sweet 💜
We’ve been putting lots of hours in on the tractor as haying season is in full swing.
The crop is disappointing as I’m sure is the case for almost everyone on such a dry year. We are plugging along doing the best we can.
He’s such a beautiful little bu**er .
I’d love to take a course on genetics. 🧬
These two are FULL siblings, a year apart.
Same mother.
Same father.
Juno is female and a light pinto with lots of splash.
Our new baby is male, very dark but still has lots of desirable markings.
Just found it interesting.
On Wednesday morning I went out to check on my Jenny girl, and found her mid- delivery. I watched her from a distance as she delivered this absolutely gorgeous jack from Skynnard. I am very excited about him.
It doesn’t run all year, but the girls love it when it does.

Clip---clop---clip---clop, went Small Donkey’s hooves as he s-l-o-w-l-y climbed the last hill. Mary rode on Small Donkey’s back. Joseph walked by Small Donkey’s side. Mary and Joseph were very, very tired. Small Donkey was tired too. They had come a long, long way. From the top of the hill, O happy sight, they saw the lights of Bethlehem!
Joseph walked faster now. Clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop, hurried Small Donkey, down the hill, through the gate, into the little town, where they would rest and sleep. At the inn, Joseph asked for a room. "We have no room," said the innkeeper. "Is there no place where we can sleep?" asked Joseph. "Only in the stable. . . . I am sorry."
Joseph led Small Donkey toward the stable. He opened the creaky old door. He held up the lantern the innkeeper gave him, and looked around inside. He saw Spotted Cow, and Woolly Lamb, and stalls that were empty. In one empty stall he tied Small Donkey. In another he made a bed of straw for Mary and himself. Soon they were fast asleep.
I’m waiting.
Penelope, Gertie & Maggie. We may as well call them the Golden Girls. 😂
