A Little About Us
Adam and his wife, Molly, grew up with diverse backgrounds in the horse industry. Adam showed cutting horses from 5th grade through college and got his start training colts in high school. In college, at NDSU, he started calf roping and has continued to grow his passion since.
Molly grew up in a team roping family and learned how to breakaway and tie goats through HS Rodeo. She attended NWOSU to continue rodeoing while pursuing a college education, on home raised/trained horses. Over the years Mollyβs main passion grew to be breakaway roping and training young horses to love the sport as well.
Adam and Molly, met in 2015 through a mutual rodeo friend. They married a year later in 2016 and started making a life together. Adam started taking in a few outside colts while Molly continued to train her own young ones in the breakaway. In 2017, they moved from Iowa to Arizona for a change of pace and new job opportunities. During that time they focused on their own two and three-year-olds before moving back to the Midwest in 2018 and landing in NE Kansas.
They have combined their skills to lay a solid foundation for young colts to go any direction. Their current location includes a beautiful sand arena, round pen, shelter for all horses, and pasture to help create a well-minded, well-trained all-around athlete that is able to find their feet and watch their surroundings. All young horses are started in the round pen and include desensitization with a flag. This is continued throughout training as needed. Adam and Molly both work full time in town, Adam as an Agriculture Lender and Molly as an Underwriter in crop insurance, but enjoy taking a few horses each month to spend more time outside and do work they are passionate about.
