Going to use this as a learning experience. I'm currently learning how to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for misleading representation of a product.
Gorilla Dog Beds - call me if you'd like to resolve amicably.

My Response to them:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 14667171, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

To my remembrance at no point was foul language used in in my call with Gorilla Dog Beds, but I invite them to produce the call recording to affirm or refute my recollection. I did indicate that if they did not resolve the situation that I would post videos and pictures online of their poor quality product and work to have them widely viewed. These are what this firm is referring to as my "threats". They are not threats, they are known facts about how today's world works when someone is unhappy dealing with an unethical business. At no point did I create any page pretending to be an "Official Gorilla Dog Beds" Page, however I did create a page to provide information to consumers about their faulty products not unlike a review. I invite their legal bully team to pursue as I will seek compensation through Oklahoma's Anti-Slapp laws.

This business is operating an unethical business model. They say "I knew". I did not know. Their product is advertised as "Chew Proof, and Indestructible" these are not terms with wiggle in them. They offer a 125 day "Chew Proof" guarantee, but then say "nothing is 100% when the product fails". This is false advertising under the legal definition.

I accept that I will never see a refund, just as they need to accept that I will use whatever power I have to make sure hundred's of thousands of people see the pictures and videos of the destroyed "indestructible chew-proof" dog bed that a Pygmy Marmoset monkey could destroy, forget the Gorilla! My posts have already been widely viewed and have already cost Gorilla Dog Beds sales from planned purchases from consumers that were planning to buy. Had they been smart they would have given me my money back and walked away.

Mr. James Deming Purchased a Gorilla Ballistic crate pad on July 28, 2020. We have a chew warranty on this product. The terms of the warranty are written and shown on our site. First, when selecting the product to purchase but also in the order acknowledgment on check-out. Mr. Deming knew that nothing is 100%, and that still went forward and made the purchase. He also admits that he did read the terms and conditions at check out. We have the warranty information below as it is written on the site.

"Although all our dog beds and kennel pads feature the most durable materials, our 125-day chew proof guarantee is for our Gorilla Ballistic line of dog beds and Kennel pads only. If your dog chews through the cover, we will send out one replacement bed or Kennel cover free of charge. It's a one-time warranty that does not include the mattress or a refund of the product. This warranty is good for 125 days after you receive your package. If you notice any chewing damage, we recommend removing the bed from your dog. You want to make sure your dog does not eat the bedding. Reintroduce the bed after receiving your replacement cover.
To process a warranty claim, please send an email to [email protected]. Be sure to include your full name, order number, and a picture of the damaged cover. Please allow 2-4 business days for us to get back with you".

We received a call on 8-13 by Mr. Deming. He immediately started using foul language and vulgar threats at the associate that answered his phone call. Not only did we take his verbal abuse, but we also offered two options beyond the terms of the warranty. 1) That we would give him a full replacement or 2) a 50% refund of his purchase. At that point, Mr. Deming continued with threats and verbal abuse. Gorilla Dog Beds will not tolerate this type of behavior and abuse. The associate was instructed to let Mr. Deming know that we will not be able to talk to him anymore.

We later discovered that Mr. Deming posted a fake FaceBook Page named "Gorilla Dog Beds Suck" as an official Gorilla Dog Beds page. Mr. Deming had no permission to post as our company. Furthermore, Gorilla Dog Beds is a protected registered trademark and is copyright. Mr. Deming was also aware before the post. They are listed below for reference. FaceBook and Legal consul have been notified and are waiting on Mr. Deming's actions.

Since we are a company of values, we have one final option for Mr. Deming in regards to his order. If Mr. Deming agrees to take the illegal FaceBook Page down, not make any more threats to Gorilla Dog Beds or it's employees, or engage in any further unlawful copyright or trademark violations, we would be happy to refund his purchase 100%.

Purchased a Gorilla Dog Bed for my 6 month old German Shepherd Puppy, it was delivered on August 5th. Within an hour our puppy had torn open the bed and pulled out and tore up the foam mattress. The mattress and cover is advertised as "Chew Proof - Indestructible" on their website. The same day, August 5th, I sent a video to Gorilla Dog Beds and received no response. On August 13th I called Gorilla Dog Beds and was told I could file a claim for a "replacement cover". When I described what the dog did, they they offered a full replacement bed. When I indicated that I knew my dog would destroy the new bed , they "spoke to the owner" and offered me a 50% refund. This was not acceptable to me as the bed was advertised as "Chew Proof ( not chew resistant), and indestructible. When I told them I would take the 50% but would write negative reviews about their product, they revoked their 50% offer and said they would only send me a new cover "Per the warranty". These are terrible people making an inferior product that they do not stand behind. They use strong words to market their product, but the product itself is cheaply made and easily chewable and destructible contrary to their claims.
