Colchester Area Professional Pet Sitters (CAPPS) is a network of independent professional pet sitting businesses based out of Colchester, CT, serving our town and some of the surrounding areas.


CAPPS member businesses are:

-Registered with the Town of Colchester
-Insured & Bonded
-Certified in Pet CPR & First Aid

We meet periodically to discuss best practices, share continuing education opportunities, plan events, and support each other.

We are all experienced, reliable and professional, and we are confident to refer clients to any of our CAPPS network businesses when in need of a backup pet sitter. We also strive to be available to each other as an added layer of emergency coverage.

Colchester Area Professional Pet Sitters will be represented at the Pumpkins 'N' Pooches Autumn Fair & Dog Fest, Oct. 5th, 2019 on the Colchester town green. Come stop by our booth to meet us and learn about our network of local pet sitting businesses. We'll have handouts, a bowl of water and some treats for your pooches, as well as handcrafted pet-related products for purchase. We hope to see you there!
