Y’all, it’s kitten season. We need food, litter, and loving families for all the kittens we have been asked to take!
These are 4 out of a litter of 5 we just took in today, and we have almost no litter or food for them. A box of litter that will last them two weeks costs $20. Food for the whole bunch for that time will probably cost $50. Coraline is our sweet baby angel shelter intake we have been rehabilitating since December. In the shelter, she was incredibly fearful, so much so she was nicknamed “Pancake” because she would lay down flat and not move, out of fear.
Now… she is amazing! She still pancakes around new people, but now warms up exponentially faster! She has been kid, cat and dog tested and passed with flying colors. She attends doggy daycare - thank you so much Camp Run-A-Mutt Gainesville!!!- and is a big time staff favorite. Our cat foster coordinator has declared her as the best dog she has ever cat tested!
Coraline will be looked over and ignored because of her breed, her color, and the fact she isn’t a puppy. People who pass her over are missing out. Whoever gets the privilege of adopting Coraline will have the best of friends for life ❤️

Well hello there Bambi!
This sweet 4.5 month old Chi-mix pup is still available for adoption! He’s a BIG snuggler and a total love 💕 He’s being fostered in Hawthorne, Florida. You can find more pictures of this little toot on his profile on our website.
Like all of our Poochies pups, this little dude will receive all age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. He also will receive a microchip, a recent deworming, and be up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention at the time of his adoption! Last but not least, his neuter will be covered by the rescue.

Meet Ana, AKA Tubbs. Many people will look over her due to her coloring and breed, but she is a true diamond in the rough. She was found sick, wormy, and very hungry. Her foster homes have taken wonderful care of her to make her healthy again, but Tubbs needs one thing that they can’t give. A home. Tubbs is an old soul. She was very friendly with dogs, cats, and young children. She’s smart, has wonderful bite inhibition (no puppy nibbles here, just kisses!) and very rarely cried when crated. Don’t get us wrong- she’s a puppy! She just happens to be the best puppy ❤️ She even charmed a diehard cat person! She and her siblings need homes.
