These are 4 out of a litter of 5 we just took in today, and we have almost no litter or food for them. A box of litter that will last them two weeks costs $20. Food for the whole bunch for that time will probably cost $50. Coraline is our sweet baby angel shelter intake we have been rehabilitating since December. In the shelter, she was incredibly fearful, so much so she was nicknamed “Pancake” because she would lay down flat and not move, out of fear.
Now… she is amazing! She still pancakes around new people, but now warms up exponentially faster! She has been kid, cat and dog tested and passed with flying colors. She attends doggy daycare - thank you so much Camp Run-A-Mutt Gainesville!!!- and is a big time staff favorite. Our cat foster coordinator has declared her as the best dog she has ever cat tested!
Coraline will be looked over and ignored because of her breed, her color, and the fact she isn’t a puppy. People who pass her over are missing out. Whoever gets the privilege of adopting Coraline will have the best of friends for life ❤️

Well hello there Bambi!
This sweet 4.5 month old Chi-mix pup is still available for adoption! He’s a BIG snuggler and a total love 💕 He’s being fostered in Hawthorne, Florida. You can find more pictures of this little toot on his profile on our website.
Like all of our Poochies pups, this little dude will receive all age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. He also will receive a microchip, a recent deworming, and be up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention at the time of his adoption! Last but not least, his neuter will be covered by the rescue.

Meet Ana, AKA Tubbs. Many people will look over her due to her coloring and breed, but she is a true diamond in the rough. She was found sick, wormy, and very hungry. Her foster homes have taken wonderful care of her to make her healthy again, but Tubbs needs one thing that they can’t give. A home. Tubbs is an old soul. She was very friendly with dogs, cats, and young children. She’s smart, has wonderful bite inhibition (no puppy nibbles here, just kisses!) and very rarely cried when crated. Don’t get us wrong- she’s a puppy! She just happens to be the best puppy ❤️ She even charmed a diehard cat person! She and her siblings need homes. Pomona and Beldam are both still looking for forever homes! These two adorable girls are pretty unique- they are both playful and goofy, while still being sweet lovebugs!❤️
Beldam is a 10 week old black domestic medium hair kitten with green eyes. She is extremely cuddly and has done fantastic with dogs, cats and kids so far. She is also quite vocal and will talk back! A sassy child 😂
Pomona is a sweet but shy little lady with a plush, medium length orange coat. She is great with other cats and does well with calmer dogs, but is skittish around children. She is about 9 months old- like so many other kittens, she has grown up in a foster home.

Poochies is being asked to assist with our third litter of orphaned puppies since the start of the new year. This is a HUGE ask for us, one will are struggling to afford to take on.
Adoptions have remained slow, and we are in DESPERATE NEED of foster homes in order to assist this medically needy litter.

Aren’t these two just too stinking cute??? Our little girls are doing great! The little solid black kitten already has an approved adopter in the wings! The little brown tabby is super vocal when she eats, which would be cuter if she didn’t scarf like a competitive eater 😂
