Rescue Partners: We welcome other rescues to connect with us, so that we all can work together in saving pets lives. Our mission is to save those pets that are sitting in a rural shelter & or on "death row" by no fault of their own. We have very high hopes of giving each pet their "Second Chance" by finding their forever home. 🥥Introducing Princess Coconut!!🌴

Coconut is a 1-year-old lab pit mix who is SO ready to be a part of your family! Coconut was set to be euthanized due to fear and kennel stress when Levy County Animals Services faced a mandated shutdown in November. We knew our Poochie's family could find her the best possible forever home, so let's get to work! 😊

Coconut loves going out on excursions, exploring her foster mom's family farm, and zooming around the yard with her two foster siblings, Ellie and Alfie 😂. She’s a BIG snuggler and a total love 💕 Don't let her size fool you, she has deemed herself lapdog material. She has done great with cats, dogs, livestock, and children. She is food motivated, and leash trained. She is quite literally the WHOLE package! You aren’t going to find a better girl than this 🥰

Omelette hasn’t received a single application in her ENTIRE LIFE! Can we please get her home for the holidays? 🥺 she’s been waiting SO long, and her foster can’t keep her much longer!!!

About Omelette:
Have you ever wanted to constantly share the same square foot with a perfect snuggly angel of your own? Then look no further!

Omelette is the sister to Bacon and Pancake. So far, only Bacon has gone home. All year it has been difficult to place our sweet kittens which is just baffling because they are so wonderful!

Take Omelette for example, who’s playful and friendly. She is fantastic with other cats and children. While untested with dogs, she would only need a bit of time to adjust. She is content to just sit with you and enjoy life, but also has enough spice to keep you entertained. She’s literally perfect for a home with children or a couple.

All kittens are provided with age appropriate vaccines, including rabies, sterilization surgery, a microchip, and are guaranteed as recently dewormed and UTD on flea/tick/Heartworm prevention.

Pancake is the sweetest, most friendly cat who has been waiting FAR too long for her forever home. It’s honestly quite frustrating that she hasn’t found a family, because she is exactly the cat so many families are looking for.

Her foster home is running out of time she can hold onto her. We have until the 19th at the latest to place her. We never thought that such a wonderful cat would have to wait this long to go home, but here we are.

Pancake is about 6 months old, fixed and fully vaccinated. She is cat friendly, dog tested and approved, and would probably LOVE to have children to play with! She is a top-tier cat and would make an excellent addition to any family.

Meet Merlin and Mocha! They are brother and sister, about 8 weeks old, and so incredibly sweet 💕 Merlin is the smoke grey, and Mocha is the Tortoiseshell 🥰

They are young enough to be introduced to children, and are familiar with dogs and other cats. They were found free roaming with some of their siblings, but they are far more socialized now that they’ve been brought inside with their foster family.

🎄❤Let's find CHIP a home!🥰☃

Poochie's gang, we're at a loss. Is there any reason a puppy should grow up in foster care? Well, that's what's happened to Chip here.

Chip is a 38 lb., 7-month-old hound mix that has been with us since July 2024. He's been looking for a family ever since he was 12 weeks old, but everyone skips over him for some reason. We've been told that he doesn't look "hound-y" enough, that he's both too large and too small for what applicants want, that his eyes aren't loving enough, the list goes on.

Chip is literally everything a family would want! His foster mom said that Chip is "eager to learn, curious, and adventurous!" He knows some basic commands, loves going on walks with his foster siblings, and has a great time trying new things and meeting new people.

Here's a basic rundown of all things Chip:

🐶 Great with dogs, cats, and kids of all sizes!

Leo was seen by the amazing team at The Veterinary Center at Hunter's Crossing who normally does NOT see reptiles 😅 but with a few outside consults and plenty of research-based consideration, we believe we have a great plan in place to treat this little guy!

‼️🐍FUNDRAISING FOR A SCALY FRIEND🐍‼️

Meet Leo! He came to us when his family realized that they were not able to care for him any longer. They made the right decision to come to us and rehome him (instead of dumping him like we’ve recently seen 👀). They truly are a great family trying to do the best by him, and have donated his tank and supplies to make the transition as easy as possible for him.

What’s going on with Leo is he seems to have a subdermal abscess, possibly near or in his respiratory tract, on his face. This would have come from a respiratory infection due to low humidity. As you can understand, this is quite painful and we would like to get him treated as soon as possible. He is also a bit dehydrated and needs to be checked for any other infections and/or parasites.

We will be calling around to vets in the area who may be able to help to get an estimate for costs, but in the meantime we are going to fundraise for what may come out to be a costly visit!

Let’s talk about California and North, our bonded pair of cats who have been waiting over a year for adoption. We really love these two, let’s find them a home!

California is about 2 years old and is a Domestic Shorthair. She is very petite at about 6lbs, incredibly plush and soft, and is wonderful with dogs, cats and children. She is litter box trained and excels as a lap cat 😍 She leans heavily on her bonded partner North for emotional support in stressful situations. She also loves to play with him as well as use him as a pillow 🥰

North is about 2.5 years old and is a Siamese/Domestic Shorthair mix. He is a bit stockier at 9 lbs. He is outgoing, friendly 😁 and loves to groom his bonded partner Cali. He is wonderful with dogs and children but is slightly pickier about cats. However, if he likes them, he bonds very strongly to them. He is content being in your business or sightseeing out the window.

When these two came to us, Cali was 7 months old and very pregnant. We opted to adopt out their kittens and fix them both with the intention of finding them a home or separate homes. However, we were pleasantly surprised when they showed a deep bond with each other that allowed them to adjust to sudden change far easier than on their own. They truly are a unique pair and would excel in a home with children, other pets, both or neither.

This is Coconut, and she is lucky to be alive. Could you be the home she is waiting for?

She is our pull from Levy County’s euthanasia list. She was deemed unadoptable by Levy County’s Commission due to “excessive fear.” Her new foster home will tell you that this is not a fearful dog- she is far calmer and more relaxed now that she isn’t in a crowded shelter 24/7.

She is is not even a year, and housebroken and leash trained. She has proven herself safe and reliable around farm animals, children, cats and other dogs. She is friendly with new people and SO much fun to goof around with. She is a nice medium sized dog that would be wonderful for any family.

With how full we are, we cannot pull dogs without dedicated foster commitments. The amazing Trinity Calugar stepped up and decided to foster a dog that would have otherwise been put to sleep Thursday. So far, Coconut has done just fine with her 2 energetic corgis (including former Poochie’s pup Alfie!) and is settling in well! She has finally become ready for adoption, so let get her home!!!

🕷️‼️It’s CORALINE!‼️🕷️ Guess what? We were right: not a single inquiry or application for Coraline Jones. She is a great dog and deserves her own home! Coraline is our sweet baby angel shelter intake we have been rehabilitating since December. Meet Ana, AKA Tubbs. Many people will look over her due to her coloring and breed, but she is a true diamond in the rough. She was found sick, wormy, and very hungry. Her foster homes have taken wonderful care of her to make her healthy again, but Tubbs needs one thing that they can’t give. A home. Tubbs is an old soul. She was very friendly with dogs, cats, and young children. She’s smart, has wonderful bite inhibition (no puppy nibbles here, just kisses!) and very rarely cried when crated. Don’t get us wrong- she’s a puppy! She just happens to be the best puppy ❤️ She even charmed a diehard cat person! She and her siblings need homes. Our mission is to save unwanted, abandoned, abused, surrendered, injured and stray pets, by no fault of their own, provide all vaccinations, spay/neuter and find suitable homes. We have very high hopes of giving them each pet their "Second Chance" by finding their “Happily Ever After”-forever homes. We are a Non-Profit private in home-foster based pet rescue, we pay for all vetting expenses, vaccinations, rabies, spay/neuter, heart-worm test and monthly preventatives, and micro-chipping. We soley rely on monetary donations which are a Tax Deduction and we hold on-line auctions to raise money as well. We are truly grateful to our supporters in helping us save pets that are so deserving of their “Second Chance”.
