4️⃣WEEKS OLD!
Our little bears are getting big and have had quite the past few days. First formula, first weaning food, first nail trims, first deworming and we will be introducing them to the outside in just the next few days!
In order of which they were born:
1. Wolverine (Wolf)
2. Rogue
3. Scarlet
4. Pixie
Applications will be accepted in just a few short weeks.

These 4 gorgeous puppies arrived at the shelter as owner surrenders, because their owner was not able to sell all the puppies.
We always recommend doing your research before adopting any breed, but especially before adopting a husky. Huskies are full of energy but make perfect companions. Huskies would thrive in an active home where they can get lots of exercise. They also need lots of stimulation to keep them out of trouble and keep their minds busy! Examples of brain stimulation and brain enrichment can include licky mats, Kong's with Peanut Butter, or puzzle feeders.
There are 3 females and 1 male avaialble. All puppies are 3-months-old, spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go home today!

Koda aka Cadillac was pulled out of a shelter in Texas and has been living his bestest life since. I stopped by his place last night to give him and Apollo a hug.
I wish I had a better picture. I didn’t get to say goodbye and I didn’t feel much like a selfie. I went home to get the van ready for her trip.
When Doc called and told me how much pain she was in and that her back was in fact broken, we let her go. 💔
I did spend time with her in the van and we wrote her family a poem.

RIP sweet Faith. My girl Jax was up there to greet her and she can tell her about life at H3.
And then there were 14.
Her Shortiness has no patience these days for hooman shenanigans. I truly never expected to get here... Lady's 14th Birthday. A little over a year ago she was diagnosed with cancer on her liver, and after a rough summer, she's done pretty well. The tumor is now noticeable from her side, but she still goes on a walk around the block most days and even throws a hissy fit about dinner (it should be faster, goshdangit!) Credit where credit is due to [email protected] for excellent advice on supplements to help keep her healthy. When Lady's ready, she'll let me know. As always, I bow to her wishes, under Her Ladyship's benevolent paw.
Tumbleweed aka Little Tumbles is still available and grows snuggling by the day! This playful pup is sweet and submissive but still likes to romp and play . He's always looking for human interaction and is quite happy to be held and cuddled when he's not running amok with his brother.

We are certainly enjoying our time with this adorable little lunatic! Deepdish is a high energy, playful, social butterfly. After her first night she's been quiet in her kennel at night. She's all go, all the time. She's looking for a home with a lot of energy to spend on her. She'd be a stellar running or hiking companion. She does demo some resource guarding with our pack. She's an excellent companion and gets chatty around meal times. Check out the application on taysiablue.com .

Is it crazy for me to ask you to help me raise another 50k for these huskies?
So you want to build a husky ranch and have all the huskies? Let’s just start with the basics. Without this basic, your husky ranch will only last a few months. Half a year ago this entire area was beautiful grass, now it’s just disgusting p**p water that’s leaking into the grass unless we do something about it now.
Disgusting. P**p water lake, muddy holes, muddy paws, unhealthy dust everywhere, can’t keep any clothes clean, every paw is muddy and wet, we just cannot sustain this.
Last November I begged and begged and was able to raise 50k to put in a drainage system
and concrete in front of the kennel building, which currently DOES NOT have a drainage system. So the p**p just sits there.
Well, today is the day! the plumbers and the concrete guy will be here today to get this done!!
Here is my dilemma! The concrete alone will cost 50k! I still need money to buy the materials for the plumbing and the electric for the spay and neuter clinics, I also need about 4 truckloads of gravel and I have to have a building mover come and move the spay and neuter clinics unto the new concrete pad.
My biggest request this year. An urgent NEED. This isn’t just so we can have something cool, this is so we can sustain our life saving facility for years to come so that none of them suffer, none of them. Without doing what we need to do today, H3 will not survive.
So please, give us your Starbucks today, send even $1. Every dime and every share and every thought and prayer will help. We are talking about the future of H3 here. Without this drainage system we will not be able to rescue at this number. Without the spay and neuter clinic we will never solve the underlying problem.

Question to anyone who owns a husky....
Is it normal for them to get out of their kennel even after you have locked both sides. Two nights in a row we have come home and Izabella is greeting us at the door. Cage door open. We have set up a camera inside the house now (even though I swore I NEVER would) and we shall see the escape artist perform her trick on escaping the kennel!
I love her sooo much but she is definitely my WILD DOG! She has SO much personality.

I remember when we first became husky parents, we lived in SoCal but we knew it was temporary.
Since Jc and I met, we knew we both wanted to live more north, in cooler temperatures, and be surrounded by evergreen forests, mountains, lakes, and rivers.
And we wanted to play in them. A lot.
There’s a lot we can tell you about our plans back then, but we knew we also wanted an athletic hiking buddy who LOVES the north and cold as we do.
The power of intention is amazing.
We ended up with a pack of huskies, we left SoCal and headed north.
We lived in the deep winters of the Midwest, traveled a lot to the Northern Sierras, played our hearts out in the European Alps for months, and lived on-and-off in the magical Cascades which we can never get enough of. We’ve visited the mountains in Utah, the unmaintained wildness of Montana, and the jagged wilderness of Idaho.
In the end, we’re cool-climate mountain people, and our husky kids are the perfect companions for the lifestyle we love.
If we ever become beach bums, our lifestyle will probably lead us to having a German short-hair pointer Squad, or something like it - but a short-haired dog that loves the beach vibe and milder steady climates.
For now, we LOVE this northern, athletic, intelligent breed that belongs in the north with us in the Tundra 😆
If you’re thinking about your ideal future lifestyle, set your intent, bring the fur kid into your life that will love the lifestyle - not just survive it.
So, if you’re planning to be a part-time couch potato (no judgment here) a basset hound will adore you for it 😁 …but will still need daily leisurely activities to be healthy.
If you want a husky - get ready to put in the WORK.
