I'm Amy Clough, owner and sole baker of Clough'D 9 Cookies and Sweets (pronounced "cloud nine"). My cookies are a buttery vanilla cookie with a hint of lemon, topped with sweet vanilla royal icing. I am located on Maryland's Eastern Shore, amidst the farm fields and waterways of Caroline County. I do not have a store front, but bake my treats in my licensed commercial kitchen- found in my backyard

! I will deliver my treats free of charge to the Preston, Easton, or Denton areas. Unfortunately, I no longer ship cookies as of 2018. Please send me message to inquire about cost. Cookies can be individually bagged as favors, gift boxed, or arranged on platters (platters for local orders only).

**I DO NOT RECREATE LICENSED CHARACTERS/LOGOS (ie Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol, etc) due to copyright laws.**

🤠 Come join me for my "Giddy Up!" Intermediate Cookie Decorating Class on Thursday 6/4/26 at the Queen Anne -Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company in Queen Anne, MD from 7-9pm. Since this is an intermediate class, students should be comfortable with basic piping and flooding with royal icing, as these skills will not be taught.
🐮You'll be guided step-by-step in decorating five cowgirl-themed cookies with royal icing. We're also learning how to add texture to icing with paintbrushes to make "rope", hair, boot creases, embroidery, and an easy all-over base texture!

Throwing it way back to 2017.
I was decorating cookie orders every moment of every single day. (Not anymore though!)
And who kept me company?
Jamie and Claire.
On repeat.

It was bittersweet watching the end of Outlander because of our long relationship. And talk about the plethora of cookie inspiration! I had made these cookies back then as part of a charity Outlander auction in NYC (the charity name escapes me at the moment- perimenopause brain, ye ken?). They were inspired by my favorite moment in the books and show. The Print Shop scene. Sigh.🥹Cue goosebumps.

I look forward to getting back to the books to rediscover details I missed. And I really look forward to when Diana delivers the true finale to us in Book 10.

🌹You'll be guided step-by-step in decorating five cookies with royal icing and pre-made sugar embellishments. We'll be working with two icing consistencies and making royal icing transfers in class. No experience necessary!

Wishing you the sweetest Easter blessings!

It has been a very busy few weeks; traveling to Phoenix and Orlando (+ some Disney time!) with the husband, teaching a local cookie class, and full steam ahead on CookieCon Add-On Workshop prep. It was also the perfect time to break out the chocolate cookie recipe from . It was a hit among my class students!
