Over the last 25 years Serpentime Reptile Zoo has transformed many times. Originally the concept of Serpentime was breeding, but that quickly changed to a more educational focus. we have rescued and rehomed literally hundreds of animals over the years. we love to share their stories in our shows and hope that stories weather they are good ones or bad ones in that showing people up close and person
al what can happen to these animals when they are not properly cared for. many reptiles make excellent family pets but they do have specific needs that must be met. We have bred many species over the years. Currently we are breeding crested geckos and some boa constructors. We are hoping to produce sunglow, albino, anery, DH for snow as well as 100% het albino this year. We are raising up a variety of other species for future breeding as well. We have been doing educational interactive shows around Cape Breton Island now for 16 years. Although this is now a hobby over a business we still do offer educational shows, birthday parties, fairs and special events when we have the time. The last 25 years have been an amazing ride. We have been fortunate enough to had the opportunity to introduce our pets to people from all over the world and have met so many wonderful people and made so many great friends from this adventure. Aside from reptiles we also work with and breed siamese cats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, rats, mice and who knows what the future will bring. I have dedicated well over half of my life to these animals and look forward to many more years of it.
The idea Serpentime all started in 1997 with the purchase of our 1st snake a mexican black kingsnake. We have kept well over 200 species of animals.
