Well mom did this thing and now I feel funny and have to look like the living room lamp... I’m feeling better everyday though so I should be back to work in no time!

So I went with mom today we were out and about for about 5 hours. I pressed the handicapped button for her a few times today, did ok at block and cover, she was super happy when the doctor tried to call me over to her and I just looked at her and then looked at mom..

My time has most been at home but I have gone a few places. I am not quite ready for big crowds yet so I will stick to local stores and continue to build my confidence. Mom says this is a big month for me because she said I’m not gonna have balls but there are like 3 I’ve hidden from her so jokes on her!!

Getting more solid on "button" to press the handicapped button to open doors, doing well at bracing for mom to get off the floor. I'm working on picking things up mom drops and I can roll over and shake. Today I learned there the steps are in the pool and got brushed out because my fur did an alfalfa thing

Yesterday we went to Great Clips mom needed some hair cut? We also went to Home Depot and Variety's for breakfast (for mom and Nick I didn't get 1 stinking bite!) just a little dog trying to make it in a big world, I'm learning everyday and becoming more confident with every outing!

I just want to take a min to brag on my my friend Cas and her girl Grace they have been working really hard training together and Cas has come a long way from the unconfident pup she was to this girl confident beauty you see today! She can fetch her girls meter and they are working to have her alert to her sugar levels! Keep up the great work girls!!

I had my first "task" training session it was different from what I'm used to but mom seemed happy with what I did my food came really fast anyhow that's all I cared about. Here I am hanging out with Liz after school she needed some kisses.

Pets Are Lucky

Service dogs and Service dogs in training are super cute but please don't distract us. I had my first distraction yesterday where a lady kept talking to me when my human was trying to get medicine. It was very hard for me to ignore someone talking to me.

Service dogs take their work very seriously as they can be called on to save the life of their partner at any time! Share this video to help us spread awareness!

Some of my training the past few days. Leave it is building up and I went to this place called the VA with mom they said she had something wrong with her the word is too big for me to remember I just laid down a lot.

Working on obedience to pass my Canine good Citizen test so I can start task training. Sit is pretty solid, leash training is getting better, I know "watch me" means I look at mom, my tummy is still on the sensitive side so if I get too worked up I throw up we are working on that.

Not to toot my own horn or anything but mom says I'm a really good boy she is teaching me sit, down, watch me, riding in a car, and leash training is taking a bit longer. I am also gonna take a few days to warm up to children.

We are mastering sit and down today this is my 2nd training lesson for the day we are working on being more comfortable in the car, big step for me I felt comfortable enough to eat in the car!

Fake service dogs are becoming a problem

Look guys this is not ok, can we all agree to do a little better? The unprofessional dress is sort of moot because a Service Dog can be dressed any way their handler chooses but the dressing our pets as service dogs has to stop. It's not only selfish but someone can get hurt so just stop, please!!

Service dogs come in all shapes and sizes, but it's their training that really distinguishes the legitimate ones from fake service dogs.

Hi everyone. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to leave mom's house and go help another veteran out. She gets updates on me and rest assured I'm doing well and being well cared for. Still turning heads at the VA with all the pretty ladies!

I was kind of a bad dog at the VA I barked and lunged at another service dog. My mom couldn't apologize for my behavior but she told me I embarrassed her with my actions. We saw another dog in a different area that sniffed my butt but since mom was so mad at me I just let it go. I got his scent though...

Some weird lady came up to me in the grocery store and pet me... Mom gave her a card on how to properly interact with service dogs... I hope she takes it to heart and does better with the next service dog she comes in contact with. It didn't bother me any but I know I'm not supposed to get love in public from strangers when my vest is on.

Please don't pet Service Dogs like myself when you see them. Also, when the handler tells you not to pet dogs like myself because we're working please respect the answer "no". Eventually every teams patience will grow thin and this is what will start happening as a result...
