And once the more cooler weather comes around I have a beautiful faded orange on the other side ;)

I will have a good handful of new bandanas, bow ties and treat bags at the this weekend at the stand! I’m trying to have a good mix of summer-y fabrics and fall-ish fabrics, for those who love the fall like me. 😊
And no, I’m not wishing the summer away. 😉

There was a vendor viewing of the new Branching Out store in Cavendish yesterday and it’s so cute! Absolutely loved the place and everything and everyone in it!
The grand opening is tomorrow!

Hopefully you’ll be able to make it out there sometime this summer! It’s a great way to support local artisans.

I have officially dropped off my first batch of hand made pet accessories to Branching Out Island Artisan Market for this Summer’s store in Cavendish!

As of right now I will have two sizes of bow ties, placemats, cool/hot bags and treat bags! The treat bags are a new pattern and I’m absolutely in love with them! I’ll do another post on them later.

We are all so excited to get this place up and running 🏃‍♂️

And thank you to all of the volunteers who have been setting up the shop. 🙏 It’s going to be amazing!

Maddie and Sarge will be an official vendor at the Branching Out Island Artisan Market in Cavendish this summer!

I will have a handful of bandanas but also my bow ties, heating/cooling bags, treat bags (new!) and p**p bag carriers (also new!).

There will be lots of great local products available so if you’re in Cavendish this summer stop in and support local businesses! 😊

Isn’t Sarge adorable in his new Valentine’s Day bandana?! I now have Valentine’s Day Bandanas and working on some adorable bow ties and will be available at the Charlottetown Farmers' Market Saturday!

I will have some Valentine’s Day bandanas at the market tomorrow! Only 3 more weekends until ♥️ Day. Another excuse to dress up our doggos or cats and make them look extra adorable! 🥰
Look for them at the Maple Bloom Farm stand (with our lettuce, microgreens and sweet potatoes) at the !!!

NEW ITEM!!!

HOT/COLD BAGS!!!

Made of 100% cotton fabric and plain rice as the filling.

Measured and cut to fit most microwave plates (learned the hard way haha). Heat in microwave 1 min per side.

Or put in fridge or freezer to cool down (found out the rice will not freeze together in the freezer 😮).

Good for humans or doggos!

Sarge absolutely loves the one I made him last month. We use it after he comes in from playing in the snow. We also use it after he comes in from a long, eventful walk where he is just panting no matter how much water he drinks. It helps cool him down. He even gets excited now when we say “cooling mat”. 😊

And personally I’ve used mine for my lower back when it gets sore and it’s so nice and comforting.

Note: when heating up the bag please make sure that it’s not too hot for your dog. The suggestion of 1 min per side has been a good amount of time for us but may change depending on your microwave. And never leave your dog on a heat bag for too long.

I’ve made this one for the on Saturday to see what people think of the idea. And if it’s received well I’ll for sure be making more!

Sunday December 10th and 17th the Charlottetown Farmers Market will be having their artisan market, which I will be at in my normal spot!
Wondering if anyone would be interested in handmade heat bags? Also good for cooling in the freezer. Rice as the filling. Humans and dogs both love them! Both Sarge and I have used ours number ours times in the past few weeks after I made it.
They’re approx 15” by 9” for a large and half that for the small.
Going to try a Christmas pattern as well!
