So grateful for this awesome donation of mouse supplies! The paper bedding will be great for the nesting and nursing mama mice and the rescue babies will love the enrichment items!

We often take in/rescue domestic mice, rats, hamsters, and other small animals who need to find new homes. This week, we took in over 100 mice that had been abandoned in Plano, TX. This is quite a bit more than we normally take in and it puts a bit of a strain on our food budget. It also required us to make new bin cages and purchase extra water bottles and food bowls. Since there were quite a few males, we’ll also be needing more small bins to house many of them individually (male mice can only live together a short time before they need to be separated).

Along with the mice, we also took in a rabbit, who needs rabbit feed, treats, hay, and lots of fresh veggies.

While we rarely ask for donations of any kind, this is a special situation and we could use a little help buying the food, fresh veggies, bedding, and other supplies these animals require.

So, we set up a fundraiser to help ensure these mice & the rabbit get everything they need til they are adopted. No donation is too small and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone!

We’re having some issues with the website creating unwanted pop-ups. I have no idea how this happened since I use weebly, a drag and drop website builder, but something is definitely wrong. I’ve got a bunch of cleaning to do today, but I’ll try to get this issue fixed by tomorrow evening.

This is one of our foster kittens, Trip. We’re raising money to pay for her to have a surgery to help her leg heal. She lost a foot in an accident and the vet says it won’t ever heal completely unless it’s amputated higher up. So, we’re hoping we can raise the money for it.
