Rachael has competed side saddle at National level, winning many titles including, Royal Welsh , Royal Three Counties , and Royal Windsor, including many Supreme Championship through the country . She also regularly hunts and jumps side saddle and you can often see her popping hedges too!
Here's what to expect:
1 hour private lesson with Rachael, teaching you the ropes.
A side saddle will be fitted and provided for your horse for the lesson.
Cost :
£60 per person for Adults, to include an hour's individual lesson, saddle provided, and use of the arena.
Rachael has a child's saddle also , so can cater for tiny tots too
£35 half an hour child's lesson

To secure your space, payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Cancellation policy applies!
Please note -
Wear plain boots without buckles or emblems on the outside as they mark the saddle. Jodhpurs boots with long socks are suitable.
We are changing the date of the treasure hunt from 23rd June to another day. Hopefully when it's warmer and doesn't clash with so many other events. Maybe an evening? New date to be confirmed 😁

Calling all riders of the Radnor hills. We need to make ourselves known to Bute at the consultations re the turbines over the next few weeks. If Bute are aware of us using the hills of the proposed Nant Mythil wind park then if it does go ahead we can work together to ensure access, maybe even improve access to our Public Rights of Way. We need as many riders as possible so if you know people even if they are not members please pass this info on. I am arranging a face to face meeting with our BHS Wales rep on how we keep lines of communication open. The consultations are Dolau 21st May 2-7pm

Hi, we had a good meeting on Tuesday evening. Here's what is coming up.
Mounted Treasure Hunt Approx 4 miles starting at Heart of Wales and riding on the common. Teams between 2 and 4 members £5pp open to all. All children to be accompanied by an adult. 23rd June. More details to follow.
We would love to have Chloe back for more lessons just need to arrange date and venue.
Also hoping to run a dressage test riding day . Practice- feedback- competition.
Next meeting 11th June
Don't forget we have our meeting on Tuesday at the Severn Arms 730. Please come and give us your ideas.

Riding club meeting is on Tuesday 9th April at the Severn Arms 730. Apologies for being a bit quiet. It's a busy time of year with lambing etc. Here's to hoping the rain stops soon so we can get rid of the mud and start enjoying our horses!
Unfortunately no lesson this week. We will try to rearrange. Clocks change this weekend and lighter brighter evenings are upon us( hopefully!)
