There's the tiger trait, and then there's whatever the heck Yava and Nedivin managed to do with their lilly white babies! 🐅 This newer baby has me very excited 😃

This isn't not the only lilly white baby they produced this season with beautiful stripes like this, but the other one is filling in with white so much that the stripes are barely discernable anymore (baby pic shown at the end!). I kinda hope this one keeps the stripes, contrary to the popular goal of high coverage white. My holdback list from this pair is getting too long, so some tough decisions need to be made!

Look what I have!! 🤩 Since discovering the magic Steve Erly is doing with sables, getting one of his animals has been a little dream of mine. Well, not only did I get one, but he gifted me a possible sable half-sibling as well! 👀🤗

📝 The sable is the one with the beautiful thick cream on the dorsal, and possible sable is the vibrant tricolour. The white is noticeably creeping up the laterals of the sable with each shed. I've included photos from Steve's page to show what 2 months of growth looks like for these little cuties. My props absolutely enhance how much the orange is picked up by the camera in the possible sable, but best believe she's a vibrant gal in any setting! 🧡 Thanks a million, Steve! These 2 are just the picture of health and vigor, and I couldn't be happier ✨️

Kiki joining me with some Christmas spirit 🎄

To no surprise, she was ready to get lost in that tree the minute I looked the other way 😄 I chose Kiki as a wee juvie because she's got one oil spot following her tiger patterning, and a bold tiger + dal spots sounds like a fun possible goal! She ended up becoming quite the spotty girl as she's grown up.

The tigered oil spot is displayed nicely in the last photo 🐅⚫️

Efi was pretty insistent on rubbing her nose on the metal screen, so I added a layer of plastic screen inside, and it was successful at stopping her nose rub, and allowing her cute little snout to heal 🩹. After a few weeks, she discovered it also makes a great perch 😃

She's just the cutest 🥹

I've never been more hyper-vigilent over a pair of hatchlings before! Money x Inagod had a VERY successful first clutch, and I'm on the clock constantly making sure they're eating and doing well. The babies were born right around Halloween 👻, and being axanthics, it all felt fated ✨️

The lilly white axanthic is very confident and active, and the non-lilly axanthic is more shy, but gives me leader vibes when I watch the 2 interact together ❤️

My FB followers get the first glimpse of these extra special babies! If you're in the market for an axanthic from really fun lineage (Money is a hypo axanthic! And Ina, a lilly white 100% het, has a very dark base 🖤), keep an eye on my page, because I don't have space for many holdbacks from them, so most will be made available when they reach Healthy, Thriving Bean ™️ weight.

Okay I admit, this was my favourite photoshoot to date! Corn snakes are not my primary focus, but I'm giving them extra love this week 🤍📸

Aomori is a beautiful and patient model, and she made this series an absolute pleasure to photograph. Corn snakes are definitely more challenging than my New Caledonian geckos to photograph, but the results are that much more rewarding! ✨️

Aomori is a snow het palmetto, with a very slight green halo around her saddles (it's getting less prominent with age). This means she's got no red or black pigment- just white, yellow, slight fading green, and her pink (pigment-less scales), and having 1 copy of the palmetto gene can sometimes add a beige-ish tint. Compared to my other snow corn snakes, I think the beige really shows on her! I'm curious how white her base will be when she's at her full adult weight! Or will she be beige-pink with green and yellow? Super excited to find out! 👏

She's a gentle and sweet snake that is trained to understand feeding time vs any other interaction, so her genetics are secondary to how wonderful she is 🩷🤍

🚨 Dream Snake Morph Alert 🚨

After 2 years of yearning, I just picked up my dream snake from .reptiles today! Appalaches Reptiles are my first choice for corn snakes, and yet again, they do not disappoint! This beautiful baby palmetto corn snake is exactly what I wanted: male, a normal palmetto phenotype, and with non-bugged eyes (enlarged/'bug' eyes is a common palmetto issue, mainly in males). This little fella is curious and already exploring his little baby enclosure 🤍

A perfect pet, and a perfect mate for my snow halo het palmetto if I decide to breed them in a few years! 🤍🧡🩶

Menaku is the first to officially model with my spooky photo setup additions, spotlighting this beautiful reedbuck skull (shoutout SkullStore Inc ) and she couldn't look better doing it 😍 This skull definitely carries some energy of the animal passed, so we try to act with respect and positive intentions when interacting with it. Mena did a very good job 🧡

Greetings friends! You may have noticed a bit less content from me lately- there's a reason for that 🤔 If you're only following my animals and I on Facebook, you're not seeing the majority of my posts!

I've been focusing on my IG, and the platform has definitely been a better choice for me to be able to grow my audience and connect with the reptile community. I only cross-post a small portion to FB, so there's a benefit in following both!

The probable female of Yava's first clutch ever! Yava is from the Winterbreeze line from Reptile Edge, and she's been passing down that signature dorsal to all of her LW babies so far! She couldn't have produced a more beautiful tricoloured LW if she tried 🔥😍✨️

I tried a new supplemental feeder for my dart frogs today, and wow it was a huge success! ✨️

Confused flour beetle larvae is a high fat and high protein option to add variety for dart frogs. My frogs are already accustomed to getting occasional fruit fly larvae (compliments to uneaten gecko food), but this beetle larvae dish had them climbing over one another to search for more! Empty dish within 5 minutes of putting it in the enclosure 😀. The sifting process is a bit of work, but seeing such happy frogs have me looking forward to the next time!

Expo + import pickup went so incredibly well! I couldn't be more excited about my new animals; all healthy and even more beautiful in person. I went to the expo with the intention to learn more about the market, but came home with 2 mainland chahouas as well! The colouring on this adult pair is just incredible. The girl is Big Mad 🌩, so here's a super quick container pic of the boy! If you think he's pretty, wait to you see the female ❤️💎

As a few of you may know, I've been in search of some white collared/spotted sarasinorums for a while now. After exhausting some word-of-mouth leads, I've decided to import a few! I couldn't resist some nice crested geckos too since I'm already paying the fees, and I cannot wait to share my new animals with you all! Tomorrow is dubbed Bean Import Day, shortened to Beanport Day 👏🤩. Stay tuned for updates on the new babies, and shoutouts to the excellent sellers that made these beautiful animals possible.
