Your fur babies may not know Monday from Friday, 🗓 but they do know when you are going to leave for work and when you will stay home with them. They know when you are on your way home, even though nobody told them so.

Your pets are very tuned in to your energy.〰️ They sense when you are feeling sad or happy or when there is something physically or mentally disturbing within you. They sense the vibrations of when you are leaving the house even before you show any physical signs.😾🚪 And they sense the energy of when you are moving toward home. 🚗

Though animals have a different philosophy on life than we do, they have many similar feelings and concerns, especially about the humans they bond with. 💁‍♀️🐾🐕‍🦺

Some days, I am simply engulfed in the joy of nature.

Find a quiet minute at work even if it has to be in the bathroom! And just meditate for two minutes in silence on the beauty and calm in nature. 🏞

Each of us can find moments of peace in our daily lives. We deserve it. 😌

One of my favorite sayings to myself when in difficult circumstances is "This won't last forever." I started using it 30 years ago and it has been true every time.

Those feelings of hopelessness do not mean that things are ACTUALLY hopeless. Those are just feelings. Remember that feelings are temporary. So, stay aware that there is a solution, even if you can't yet see what it is.

Lil Bear is a super cool lil guy who would love to go with you anywhere - as long as it's out of MCAS because he's been there too long. Please, some kind soul open your heart to Lil Bear! ❤️❤️❤️

Lil Bear is a cool grey dude with lots of funny expressions! He's a player and a toy monster...the squeakier the better... and he loves tennis balls! He would love an active family to go boating, swimming, hiking, and surfing with. Movies are good, too, after we sky dive! This young man who has spent about half of his life at the shelter. He arrived in July 2019 and is estimated to have been born around August 2017. He is an adventure waiting for you! A volunteer started to take him home on the weekends around Christmas of 2020 and he has learned a lot about how to act in a house since then. He has turned into quite the catch actually (:
So we don't understand why no one ever even comes to meet him. He is both a staff and volunteer favorite.

Shelter recommends Lil Bear be adopted to a home without cats or small children. He loves some dogs and mostly ignores the other ones - bring your dog to meet him!
