Update: Thank you all, she has a new home!

This girl was rescued by a friend. She and her three little mates were intentionally thrown from a car on Interstate 75 in Georgia. Amazingly, she was not killed. The other puppies all died.

One of her front toes was hurt and she has been seen by a vet. My friend who witnessed this hideous act called the police and caught her. The police said she would be immediately euthanized since all the shelters were full. The puppy was brought to Tennessee by my friend and she is being fostered.

She is approximately six months old and still has some baby teeth. She is very playful and smart and full of kisses.

I have met her. She is looking for a safe home where she can sleep indoors and get the life she deserves after surviving such a disgusting act. Contact me if you have such a home for this 27 lb. girl. She had also received her first round of vaccinations.

My schedule is getting full. For the week of June 20, should you need a sitter, I can only take you on if you are physically very close to me Cookeville/Algood/White Plains. I simply won't have time for all my other clients that week otherwise. If you need me the last week of June I have one spot left and maybe another if you are very close. July bookings still have some room.

If you need pet sitting services, feel free to contact me. Once you write something in messages you'll get an automatic response so you can then text me-- which is the best way to reach me. I love and take care of all kinds of animals, however, I cannot board animals in my home because I have too many of my own animals. What I do is come to your home and my prices reflect distance, number of daily visits and number of pets. I will travel a further distance for a once a day cat visit situation, of course the price would reflect the travel, but it is doable.

Animal House

I’ve always lived in a house full of animals. However, even my house has its limits when it comes to pets, even though my heart and mind have other ideas. I discovered years ago that I could constantly feed my need for more dogs and cats by taking care of other people’s dogs and cats. Besides radio, it’s one thing I genuinely love to do. I wish I had thought of pet sitting years ago. People trust me, animals love me, and I have the type of flexible schedule that is made for this type of work. I have experience with young ones and geriatrics. I’ve given pets insulin shots, pills, lotions--whatever medical needs they may have. I’ve walked dogs in the snow and rain (not my favorite thing, but if it has to be done). I’ve taken my clients’ pets to the vet and I’ve cleaned up every kind of dog diarrhea and vomit there is (again, not my favorite thing to do). I take care of animals who need someone to look after them when their main human is away. So whether it’s because you can’t get home to let them out at lunch or you want to leave town for awhile and your babies just don’t board well in strange places, message me. My whole family is often involved (dragged into) this adventure and my daughters are a huge help to me and are much-loved by the animals we take care of. So bring on the miniature ponies and pigs, birds and bunnies, rodents and reptiles, and fishy-fish too. Your pets will be well-loved in my care and I’ll even water your plants and bring in your mail and newspapers too. I primarily serve area codes 38506 and 38501. If you are in desperate need I will travel outside my zone, but be aware that will be reflected in the price and dependent upon my availability.
