Both Hank(L) and Trey(R) have been with us since September of 2024. They are going to very good homes and we’re immensely grateful ❤️

It’s Fostering Friday at Happy Tails!! And we’re excited to share with y’all these two great dogs 🐾

Red is a two year old female. Her foster rescued her from Paradise Villa. Red is accepting of dogs and cats. She does love to play cats. But she never hurts them. Red adores humans. And loves kids. She weighs 30lbs♥️

Scotty is a one year old male. His foster rescued him from a local vet where he was abandoned. He is good with kids and dogs. He’s not a cat fan. He is 30lbs of love 💕

Both dogs need some land to run and play. Each will do well in a large backyard. Reach out to us if you would like to meet either dog. Message us or call

A big thanks to Shelby County VFW Post for their generous donation this week to Happy Tails Adoption Center - HTAC Shelby County Animal Shelter . Your support means a lot to our animals, staff and volunteers. Post members also took time to tour the facility and hear more about the animal welfare programs and needs at the shelter. Y’all may remember when we asked for transportation in getting Tigress to her new mom in PA. Well, we finally arranged a flight with an animal transport company. He got his fee down to $750. Whoops!!

She now we’re asking for your financial help to get Tigress to PA.

Happy Trails to these gorgeous 3 four legged babies.

Schmitty the puppy, Cosmo the black cat and Frank the black an white cat. They were all excited go home with their new families.

Hello!! My name is Stormi. I’m excited that today is Meow Monday so that I can introduce myself to y’all 😻

I am around a year old. I’m super soft and very sweet. I’m hanging at Happy Tails because my dad has severe health issues.😟

I’m on the waiting list to get spayed. I get along with other cats. But I haven’t spent anytime with dogs. Why would I? They don’t seem to be very dignified 🐾
