I know there is a lot that draws your attention every day, which makes me all the more appreciative that you’re here. So I’ll cut to the chase. I am an animal lover and in particular, I love my cats. They entertain me, inform me, appreciate and bless me every day. They are included in every dimension of my life, whether as a wife, step-mother, entrepreneur, friend or professional. The meaning the
y carry for me cuts across all aspects of my life. And I know this is true for all people who love their animals. Which is why it makes sense that I would create a website devoted to the care, wisdom and well-being of animals. Just a Little Background… For the past 25+ years I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist and for more than half of all these years I’ve also been a Zen Buddhist priest. I’ve learned a lot and have tried to forget about as much. But when all is said and done, all my years of training can be condensed down into two little bits:
1. an appreciation for how extraordinary this ordinary life really is, and
2. animals are often our best teachers. So, with that said, there are 3 primary moves you can make on AnimalFusion:
Inspired Storytelling…This is my personal blog where my 3 cats, Oliver, Magda and Beck, have been assigned Archetypes. They dialogue back and forth about what occurs in their lives. Pretty much like what we would do. I throw some teachings in there – you never know when something will stick. Delight in Community…This is about all of us. This section is where we gather, write, comment, ask, inquire, make strategic alliances, help and support one another. We can literally take delight in one another. A Treasure Chest of Choices…And this section is where I get to meet entrepreneurs, test drive their products and offer the best of the best to you. I’ve got a terrific line-up of products from people all across the US and I’m open to hearing from you if you have any new suggestions. In particular, I’m committed to featuring and supporting those self-made entrepreneurs with huge, passionate visions who start from nothing and just keep going and going because it would never occur to them to quit. Oh, and this section is also about the incredible, self-made 501(c)3 charitable organizations that are so beautiful in their love and compassion for animals that you just want to…well, you decide for yourself what you just want to do…
