It's been a while since I've had to let my girls go. Not 100% sure why it's taken me so long to look for another... companion, fur baby, buddy... what is the socially correct word these days. And do we "get" a dog or do they get us? Hopefully both.
It's time.
Scrolling through the local animal shelter website I found this beauty. Her bio states that "she doesn't get along with other dogs" and that could potentially be a problem because most all my family members have dogs and all are welcome in my home. I'm going to turn my application in today. I've already made a commitment to dog sit a friends dog through the end of the month so will take that time to get to know he,r (the shelter is very close to my home) take her for walks, and perhaps we can do a meet and greet with my daughters dogs. I'll keep you posted on the progress. Keep good thoughts!
