Dancer (Benden's Spark of Imagination x Kamaglo's Celtic Song at Rusty Creek) and Trick (Wakemup's Wild Night Out x Kamaglo's Celtic Song at Rusty Creek) with their loot from COGRC Specialty. Combined these two showed in 8 classes over the weekend.

In addition to 1st place in Open B, Trick came home with HIT. This award makes him eligible for GRCA Obedience Dog Hall of Fame. I am very grateful for all the hard work from the stud dog breeders/owners, as well as my own dog Piper's breeder. Because of their diligence, I'm blessed to own such wonderful talented dogs.

Trick earns a first place in Open B with a 199. That gave him High in Trial. UD leg number 2, hoping to finish his UD next month. Although with the timing factor, he is now competing with his sister's first litter. :)

Trick's debut in Utility B today earned 195.5 and a third place ribbon at West Central show. He also had a good day in Open B with a 198.5/Second Place.

Dog of the Day! Need a demo dog for tonight's obedience class. Hmmm...who should it be? My choice, Swirly who was really dirty! But she is so wash and wear. 50 minutes from bath to done and that includes smooches along the way! Love her coat, correct and moderate...perfect for a hard working dog. She's a gem including the stuff that's between her ears

Puppies will be sweet, extremely smart, birdy and active. Beau-D is an outstanding worker. Among his long list of accomplishments, he qualified for the Master National in 2016, 2017. He is a proven producer and his kids are doing outstanding in multiple venues.

Swirl is currently working on her field career and will take time off for family duties this fall. Great retrieve drive, quick to grasp concepts, loves to work and always wants to please. In typical "golden" fashion, will work all day and then cuddle on the couch.

COGRC Offers Conformation Classes! Just in time for summer shows! "Show-n-Go" immediately follow classes. Drop ins welcome during run-throughs.

Classes offer an opportunity for handlers and their dogs to practice gaiting with other dogs, judges examinations and gain experience. Students that are enrolled and participate in the Conformation Class may participate in show-n-go at no extra cost following each class. Trick earns his CDX!
Good weekend for us! Trick earned his CDX, 2 wins in Open and a High in Trial. Piper 1st in Utility, 2 seconds in Open and High Combined. Both were in a three way run off with Trick edging out his mum. She didn't seem to mind. :)
