Nice walk yesterday in the high 40s temp. Got my nails cut right after. At the clinic they said I was mostly good.

This guy had to go to the vet on Friday because the eye that had the ulcer was very red. It was inflamed but no new ulcer. Drops again for the next 5 days. Sigh ...

So, guess who is still wearing the cone for another week? Ulcer still healed but there is still some edema and blood vessels growing so they want to continue with the meds. It should not be painful now so we can discontinue the Gabapentin. Recheck in a week. We are 😔.

UPDATE: ULCER IS GONE! Blood vessels are still doing something so meds need to continue for another week but only 4 X each per day. WooHoo! We may be coming to the end of this ordeal.

Back to school. Waiting on a good report. Had to think twice about this Iowa State place after I heard the football team lost. But the doctors are nice.
