Our beautiful boy Fidel is having a great time with his foster mom. When we say "foster mom," we mean it lightly because she is the reason he is alive and so beautiful. We have so much love and admiration for her care of the animals. 💞💞 We want to emphasize that we have three foster moms, and they are dedicated to the well-being of the animals. They seek no personal glory; their focus is solely on the animals' welfare. 🩷

Petigris

A small update on little Petigris… 💙 Who’s so tough now 😁 He’s always been a toughie … no cuddles, no biscuits no nothing. But then a few days in the hospital wing being nursed back to health and he’s like a different cat. He has an appointment Monday with the vet and hopefully he will be able to go back home. Seeing that he has now become socialised he would be very happy to have a home of his own. Electra

You will remember me asking you if you remembered a beautiful paralysed dog a week ago, well today here she is resting on the sofa… ❤️ Electra has had it hard, from being a stray with a tumour, operated on successfully then when released hit by a vehicle leaving her paralysed. She went into foster and finally we thought her life would change when she got adopted. We thought what a lucky girl then the inevitable happened she became sick again. Of course she has lost her owner the guy that adopted her because now he realises how much work a paralysed dog can be. He didn't even realise that it is so important to empty the bladder and intestines everytime the dogs goes to the toilet. She is now at our fosterers home, having her treatment. It is undecided what will exactly happen but we must cover her immediate costs which includes food, medication and diapers. As we often say if you can donate to us, we will make sure that the animals are cared for .... we can do no more. He was crying but no mama or siblings were anywhere to be found. Socialising our kitties

Part of our day is spent socialising our kitties ❤️ Very many are feral when they arrive like our Cretan ladies. It’s only by constantly stroking them and letting them know they are safe do they respond. We feel that the more time we spend with them, more loving they become and then they are more likely to be adopted. Bazaar

Hello everyone … it’s a day to remember 🥳👏 Who would have thought that we would reach 8000 followers on the day of our first bazaar of the season, it must be a good omen🩷 Thank you everyone, following us means we’re getting somewhere. You’re getting to know who we are and what we stand for. We’re being told that the morning has been very busy, our candles and soaps are going down a treat. Great products, wonderful smells and reasonably priced. All for our animals … we have several stetilisations to do and of course the ongoing meds for tick treatment and worms. We were lucky with our last bazar, one of the things it paid for was the yearly vaccines. See you later as we get more updates 👍🥰

Electra

Happy Sunday everyone from Electra 💗🩷 Remember a few weeks ago we reported on a sweet girl that had successfully overcome an operation to remove a tumour and then released on to the street to be hit by a passing vehicle and left paralysed 😢 We came into the story part ways through because we are good friends with her fosterer Efi Efoula. We posted her story and donated a wheelchair that was handed to us by Mr Akis Skoufas, a man that wanted another dog to benefit as his own dog Larry had 🫶🏽🫶🏽 This is the first time she has had the chance to use the chair and it's obvious she loves it and will put it to good use. Really for a first time user we think she’s brilliant 👌 But finally we would also like to thank Mr Spyros Logothetis for adopting Electra. How many times do we see animals immobilised with no one to care for them. The family are complete 🥰

The family are now back together 🥰🐶🐾 Mama Amelia is now doing exactly the same as she was before she went to be spayed, she’s keeping her distance. The good thing, she is food oriented so although she keeps her self to her self when humans are present, she doesn’t go far in case she misses the food. We didn’t know but Amelia is around 10 years old and it saddens us to think that over the years she has been pregnant so many times. And whatever has happened to her puppies in the past leaves us very empty. We know puppies are vulnerable and very often don’t make it, but this time it’s different. Our bubbly puppies are now at the house, chipped, vaccinated and they will be sterilised when the time is right. The only thing left to do at this time is neuter our daddy dog. You can see him in the video at the end. We’re not sure if he’s dad but he does a great job of protecting and guiding the pups and is also so attached to Amelia that we assume he is. Remeber these little darlings are still for adoption and will be given with all legalities. Scarlet 💕💕

Good morning ... Fridays are good💞 Did we ever think we would see Scarlet doing biscuits ... no we didn't !!!! Scarlet was saved from Crete along with 5 others. Crammed in cages, promised they were healthy and socialised but we knew different. If we hadn't rescued them when we did, we dread to think of the outcome 😢 Today she is a "more than" happy girl, only one thing would please her more and that is to find her own family.
