My parents raised poodles as I was growing up. I purchased my first dog from my grandpa for $6.88, when I was about 10 years old. She was a Pug and her name was Snoopy. There hasn't been much time in my life that I didn't have a dog or cat in my home. Today, I have 6 dogs (listed by age), Bella, Ladybug, Snickers, Nala, Ally and Bear. I also have 4 horses, 19 chickens and 2 fish. I love animals, n
o matter what they are. I have always wanted to do something with animals, but never could decide what I wanted to do. So I started looking in to grooming. During my classes of grooming, I also obtained a certification in First Aid, Food & Nutrition and Massage. What I want from my business is to offer a fun, loving place for dogs to go and be loved on, played with and made to look pretty, all in a few hours. A SPA DAY, complete with massage. I knew from the beginning that I didn't want to be in the big grooming salons, so I decided to open my own. This way I could spend as much time with each dog as I wanted and didn't feel like I had to rush with an assembly line. I know how dogs can already be stressed when going to a salon, and I want to offer something different, somewhere that they are more comfortable going to. What I envision a day with your dog - Meet & greet, spend time playing with them and getting them used to me and my area. Prep for grooming (brush, pre-clip, nails, pluck ears & most important MASSAGE). Bathe (massage again). Clean ears. Play some more. Finish clip and call owner for pickup. I would never have more than 4 dogs in my salon at one time, and this would all depend on how each dog reacts to other dogs. If multiple dogs stress out your dog, I will do my best to schedule next appointment where your dog would be the only one here. For me, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOGS.

Everyone meet Baloo (brown/white), and Knox (tan). They are both Doodles. What a pleasure they were to groom today. Baloo wanted to lay on grooming table while I bathed Knox.

Everyone meet Amber. She is a 15 year old yorkie. She is a little ball of energy to be a senior dog. What a joy she was to groom.

Everyone meet Quinn. This was the first time that he has ever been cut down and boy what a coat of many colors he has under all that hair.

Introducing Luka. He is a 7 month old shih tzu and boy what a lover he is. He did so great on the table and in the tub. Was even good while I dremmeled his nails. And he gave me lots of hugs before and after the groom.
He doesn’t like his ears messed with much, so we will work on that at home and at the salon. He’s still just a baby.

Everyone meet Sulley. He is 9 year old chiweenie. He is a very sweet boy. Doesn’t care much for the water on him, but we tried to make it a game, and he did very well.

Meet Toby. He is a 4 year old Maltese and a major luv bug. He was a little nervous at first but after about 10 min in my lap, he calmed down. He really enjoys being outside.

Say hi to Benny. He is a 5 month old shih tzu and he came in for his first groom. We didn’t do a lot other than introduce him to the sounds and feels of the clippers, Dremel and shears. Gonna enjoy getting him used to being here.

Got to hang out with my girl Buttercup this morning. She is a mastiff. And a big love bug. She loves her treats. She was giving me the side eye waiting for her next treat.

Meet Fletcher. He is a golden retriever. He was a good boy. He came in for a bath and nails. He has a newborn baby sister at home, so he has to be clean and smell good for her and his nails done so he doesn’t scratch her. He’s waiting patiently for mom to come in for him.

This is Josie. She is a mini schnauzer. Her coat is amazing. She looks white but when she is outside she looks silver. And she has little black hairs mingled in. And check out those beautiful gold eyes. Forgot to do before pics.

Hi everyone. Say hello to Arrow. He is a Sheepadoodle which is a mix with an old English sheep dog and a standard poodle. He is a big boy, but gentle as everything. Didn’t even give me a fit when plucking his ears. He looked so good when he left, and was very happy. The hair piles, are three different times of clipping. He had a lot of hair. He loved playing with the ball when we got done. And wasn’t sure about his new haircut and had to check it out for himself

Everyone say Hi to Harley. He is a Westie. He is my first one. Don’t think I did too bad. Had to research to make sure I tipped his ears correctly. He was great and loves to give kisses.

Say hi to Percy. He is such a handsome fellow. Had to get his face cleaned up so he could see me and I could see him. He is a unique fellow, as he has two dew claws on both back feet. Usually don’t see this in smaller dogs.
He was such a good boy. Had to get those ears up out of the way while I did his face. He can rock a manbun.

Say hello to Izzy. She is a very tiny, older maltese. She is such a sweetheart. It was such a pleasure grooming her today. We didnt have to do a lot, but got her cleaned up, nails done and pads clipped. Trimmed her ears a little and got the hair out of her ears.

Everyone say Hi to Hazel who is a Havanese. She hasnt been to a groomer in a bit, but we got her all cleaned up and what a lover she is. She just wanted to sit in my lap and hug my neck.
She was a fighter on her front feet and we will have to continue to work on her nails. Her quicks are very long so you have to do a little at a time so that they don’t bleed.

Everyone meet Hazel. She is a bernadoodle and came in for a bath and face clean up. She is very friendly and playful. She came in with her two brothers.
Boomer is her brother and he is the tricolored mini schnauzer. He is still a puppy, and what a joy he was. He was so good on the table while I was grooming him. And his eyes are amazing.
Tootie is her other brother and he is a teacup Maltese. He is a little older but was still such a joy to groom.
