This lovely quilt is throw-sized at approximately 54” x 55”. Fabric is 100% cotton with 80/20 Hobbs batting. Cute Chihuahua pups on the front, and friendly dog verbiage on the back. However, look closely at the white squares and see the stitching, in a chihuahua pattern!

These three senior ladies got together and decided to speak for the entire group here at SBCRA and ask that if you could possibly help us with a few things it would be greatly appreciated by all of them. We have had the worst couple of months with help and we are at a point that we have no choice but to ask again to please consider helping us out with hopes that things get better soon. Whether it be donations of food, donations made directly to the vet for medical cost or donations made directly to SBCRA, any and all will be greatly appreciated.

Sweet Liv gained her wings and is now back with her true Master. She went peacefully in her sleep but was loved on as she was tucked into bed for the night.
Liv was one of many that are with us in hospice care. I’m so thankful that I get to love on them all every night at bedtime because you never know if that will be the last night you get that special time with them.
We desperately need donations for these little ones. We need food and funds for medical care and daily supplies to be able to provide for them. Please help us if you can and if you can’t please share for these little ones.

Matías came through SBCRA in 2022. He needed heartworm treatment after a stint in the Upper Amazon so he was here at the rescue for a few months. Matías shared many of his photographs and his stories but these were set aside until now.

“These are the Tulum Ruins. My assignment required some travel on the Caribbean coast of Mexico to scout locations for the shooting of “Indiana Jones and the Earthenware of Nuatanal”. Weirdly, the project imploded when the studio heads saw the budget for extras.”

Your end-of-year gift can help give dogs like Rusty a safe place to land. Thankfully we were able to help get Rusty in with another rescue where he was quickly adopted.

Dogs who come to us at SBCRA are met with warm, smiling faces of humans that will only show them kindness and compassion. They spend their first few nights here in isolation away from our other residents, but they have a warm bed, plenty of food, and plenty of human interactions.

Once vetted, they’ll join the pack. Dogs that are adoptable find new homes, but they still make lots of friends and have an abundance of play time while they stay with us. We strive to help our pups enjoy each and every day of life.
Since losing our original page we have been struggling just to provide food, medical care and the basic essentials needed for proper care. We would love to be able to help others especially now when the number of dogs needing help is so very high but we need your help in order to get back to that point.

Our time with Trixie may have been for just a few years but our love for her will last forever.
Trixie was such a sweet girl who got along well with others but did have a few that she loved being around.
Thank you so very much to all of you that have supported us in our mission to help those that need it. We have become more of a sanctuary due to our love for the older or sick ones and your donations have it made it possible for us to be with so many at a time in their lives when they needed love and help the most.
Trixie was small but had a big heart. She was a laid back, gentle loving little girl who preferred to hang out with the smaller ones until Lt Dan came and it was love at first sight. He was always so very gentle with her and she loved just being able to sit close to him. Monkey and Marli Kate were her best friends who were also the only ones she would sleep with. She will be missed but never forgotten ♥️🐾♥️

These are some of the ones that are here with us due to health or bite issues. These are the faces that look at us daily to provide them food, medical care and love. Being a registered nonprofit 501(c)3 we operate solely on donations which are tax deductible. The last five months we have been struggling since our original page with all of our followers were taken from us by hackers. We have desperately been trying to rebuild again from nothing but we need your help. The donations have dropped tremendously since going from 10,000 followers to just over 200. We are humbly asking for your help. We need monetary and food donations for these little ones. If you can’t donate then please share in hopes that others may be able to help us. We know it’s Christmas but these little ones still need food and medical care and we have no choice but to ask for help. With Christmas quickly approaching our list of wishes for our little ones here in rescue consist of one thing…..donations. These seniors don’t ask for much. They have beds, blankets, sweaters, toys, a warm place to sleep and each other but they do have needs which we do need help with. Food and medical care, that’s it.
We are a registered 501c3 rescue which means any donation is a tax deduction.
We hope you will be consider helping us by making a donation of food from our wish list or by donating for medical expenses either directly to the vet or the rescue.

It always makes my heart smile to see my former little ones. This is Chance who was adopted by a wonderful family who have loved him and has given him such a good life. This is his first Christmas with them and Christmas with them this year. Many Thanks to the Marks family for opening their hearts and home to precious little Chance.

Donations feed our rescues and pay for their vetting and medical care. Since Facebook allowed our Page to be hijacked our Followers fell from 10,000 to 200. We need help so we asked Tank to make a holiday video with antlers and a red nose. He consented but then asked “This is virtual, right?”
Tank is a former SBCRA boy who was adopted by his foster parents Willie & Marie and remembers how much your donations helped him. Let’s get this going in honor of Tank and the many others who were once in rescue as well.

We absolutely LOVE getting updates on our former babies, and Christmas is the perfect season to remember them. We have been very blessed to have so many wonderful families adopt some of our precious littles ones who are being so loved and living the life that each and every dog should have. Please keep the Carlson’s in your thoughts and prayers in the loss of sweet Dandy. He had a very rough life until he became a SBCRA boy and was adopted by the Carlson family. Dandy was so very much loved and was able to have the life that each and every dog should have. He will truly be missed but never forgotten ♥️🐾♥️
