💗 Share and save because every dog deserves the gift of wellness throughout their life. As a nutritionist and a mother of multiple human and animal babies, I have seen firsthand the life-changing differences a healthy gut can make. To learn more, comment GOOD GUT and I’ll DM you a link to our gut health quiz so you can evaluate where your dog’s at and how to more forward.
Constant itching, licking, gnawing, diarrhea, constipation, hot spots, allergies, vomiting, and recurring ear infections aren’t just ‘normal dog things.’ They’re signs of a bigger issue that could impact your dog for life: Candidiasis and Leaky Gut Syndrome.
Left untreated, this can lead to:
1️⃣ Behavioral Issues
2️⃣ Organ Stress + Failure
3️⃣ Chronic Inflammation + Infection
4️⃣ Increased Allergies and Decreased Immunity
But here’s the good news: Healing the gut is EASY and it’s a journey. But it less than three months, you can literally change the trajectory of your dog’s life.
✅ Transitioning to a gut-approved diet can cool down overworked organs and significantly decrease inflammation, and STOP feeding yeast overgrowth.
✅ Cleansing the gut bad bacteria without killing all the good bacteria simultaneously (*cough cough* antibiotics 👀) can result in long-term results, rather than just short episodes of symptom freedom
✅ Bolstering the good bacteria by adding a high quality/CFU count probiotic daily can keep bad bacteria (which will always exist) from taking over again
✅ Avoiding feeding your dog anything but approved gut foods will decrease inflammation, increase immunity and overall bodily functions! Dogs are what they eat!
This isn’t just about treating symptoms —- it’s about giving your dog the best chance for a healthy, vibrant life.
Dog parents, if your vet fails to mention gut health at your next appointment, don’t ignore it. Ask for a stool assessment or gut health evaluation. Ask what their views on gut health are and what they know about how it might be related with the symptoms you are there to address.
Let’s give our dogs what they deserve: a chance to run and play and slobber and love and thrive.
